i watched it last night...was great, much better, if properly produced im sure they would re do a couple of scenes just to make the flow a little better, some of the cuts are a little jarring, add in cinema quality production and sets and we'd have a great film
##spoiler
off the top of my head they have removed the leia chase and reva surviving and her coming after luke

Finished Obi-Wan last night.
Fun watch, a few parts as a non-SW-nerd did have me racking my brain to the movies about jedi powers though.
Always liked Simone Kessell too.

This would have been a sick scene

@Bovidae ive really just got to force myself to get over that fact its a prequel...of a prequel...and we know his ultimate fate
interesting though....the trailer make it look like he has to be recruited as an adult....but his whole character from rogue one was he'd been fighting since he was a little kid

They showed that in the trailer though? The rebellion wasn't around when he was a kid, but he was resisting the Empire/stealing from the Empire as a kid.
I wasn't that enthused by the idea of this series, but the trailer has be intrigued enough to watch. Seeing Mon Mothma more involved in the story is interesting.

As I think I’ve mentioned more than once on here the fact he’s not a Jedi or Mando or even smuggler with cool tricks should make it worth a watch in a different way than other previous material…..and of course it’s Star Wars so I’ll definitely give it a huge chance.

@MN5 definitely giving it a chance, i just sometimes wonder if they shoot themselves in the foot by trying to have everything connected, could they have told the same story with the complete new character....so we could at least have hope they survived and grew old in the new republic

wasn't sure of the best thread for this but i chuckled

@MN5 12 episodes, sweet as in my books.
A few of the problems in Mando/Fett/OBW were due to not finding the balance between being a short tight story and a series. 12 eps could be good for pacing. I understand this is more a standard thriller/spy series just set in a galaxy far far away. That gives room for character development and set pieces strung along a storyline. It also covers a long period doesn't it? Series 1 and 2 are 12 eps each and cover 4 years. The final series covers the year leading up to R1

Not sure if this or something similar has been posted before but this supposed script/storyline for Ep IX would have been sooooo much better.
The idea of a street battle on Coruscant is awesome. Some realism to warfare like Rogue One.That sounds good. How do we get Snyders minions on this? We need the Trevorrow Cut (by cut I guess I should say entirely new film).
