And the timing of substitutions will be key -
Tight 5 have been very good. Lomax was solid but looked too be walking a bit late in the half. De Groot and Sami and the locks were into it for the full 40.
Frizell hasn’t been too bad and was quite abrasive in his play which was good to see, but I think we can bring on Akira to finish the game.

That PSdT intercept off RM is unforgiveable.

Clean outs front the tight five has been better. I wonder if Ryan has simplified their role, it’s most about being decisive than technique. Things are easier for everyone else when that works

How so? I've counted 3 awful kicks and an intercept pass that gave SA momentum when we were a man up from RM. What's he actually done so far?

He's been running the backline. Something Beauden seems unable to do at the moment.

Just being there is half the battle instead of ruck inspecting. Hit someone. grab something. be a nuisance.
