@MiketheSnow
I haven't watched the doco - but have read a fair bit about it years ago... and just from that, have NO desire to see any depiction of it.
I seem to recall the lead singer of one band, who I'd thought would be the last to be the "sensible one" - being one of the few to try and stop the feral-ness. -

> @MiketheSnow are you taking about the talentless flog known as Fred Durst from Limp Biskit? No, Jonathan Davis of Korn
At least Durst looks like he can handle himself and/or enjoy the kicking

Half-way
Enjoying it

Black Bird
Very good.
Superbly cast, especially Paul Walter Hauser who played Hall.
Was 2 eps in before I'd checked something about it and found it was based on a true story!

The Resort
Yeah is a good easy watch - nearly gave up on it as the first couple of episodes are kinda boring to be honest, but it's definitely turned a corner by eps 4&5. Quite intriguing. It doesn’t end at 5 right?

We loved it, yes Hauser was exceptional and surely will win some awards, he looked just like the real dude. Hauser was excellent in the movie Richard Jewel as well. I was a little surprised the lead was Elton John in Rocketman, he clearly worked out for the role. The Agent is also hot as hell.

Watched the first episode of Halo on the flight back from NZ, may have been a mistake as i enjoyed it, so might have to get Paramount+ now...production value was good...better than the last few series of Stars Wars shows.....

Sadly my year of Paramount for $7 is ending next month. Although TBF I think I only watched 1 series (The Offer) and 1 movie on it. But my mate watched a few series and wendyball which he left on the still viewing list which nearly made me revoke his privileges.

You haven't watched 1883?

@voodoo agree, but then don't even think about K3

Just finished The Newsreader on BBC iPlayer. 6 Ep focussing on the fictional workings of an Aussie news channel in the 1980s as it covers actual events like Azaria Chamberlain, Chernobyl, the AIDS crisis etc
Nostalgic and v enjoyable. Great music and shot really well. Recommended.
