    Thirteen Lives

On Amazon Prime, the story of the rescue of the Thai soccer team in the cave.

Rin Howard is a masterful story teller.

I was gonna watch that but I already know how it ends so I don’t think I’ll bother.

There’s a nice scene involving painting.

Had fun with bullet train, stupidly hyper violent, convoluted and comedic. Some great actors, and lots of laughs from me

Watched a shitty VHS rip of one of Ebert and Siskel’s “Dogs of the Week”: Fighting Back (1982). Tom Skerritt in a De Laurentis produced Death Wish knock off.

Not bad at all, despite a confusing subplot, and a terrible rip.

Ebert was such a middlebrow dunce, despite being a good writer.

    Prey

Very decent entry into the Predator Universe. Some lovely countryside, gory deaths and terrific action sequences. It’s also a period piece ( not that this convinced the other half to watch it with me )

@MN5 I watched that last night. I enjoyed it, and an interesting take on the Predator, which hadn't yet evolved into the alpha male with all the tech we saw in the original movie.

Yeah I enjoyed it. Some cool gadgets but definitely not the really flash stuff of the later films.

    ##spoiler
Lifting that bear was awesome, it made the main chicks brother holding his own in a fight for awhile slightly unrealistic but there ya go……

@Machpants Novel and audiobook are out now. It's like an adapted screenplay.

Day Shift - Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, Snoop Dogg

Foxx is a vampire hunter, but got kicked out of the union, and thats where you make the big bucks selling fangs and he needs money to pay for his kids braces!

    Easy watch, some amusing bits.
