You wouldnt be the first person to say that.

And get this, just to fck with people, the ATM alternates between standard english and cockney...

So of course when I said to my missus "Come check out the Cockney ATM" and it presented in English, I got one of those "Do you really think Im buying this sh1t" looks.

A couple of Liam Neeson films.

A Walk Among Tombstones.

Pretty dark movie and not quite what I expected, especially the part at the beginning when he is shooting up the bad guys and one of the bullets go astray. Enjoyable enough though. 3 gun toting alcoholics out of 5.

Taken 3.

Pretty much as expected, Liam Neeson fucking bad guys up for fun. Slight plot twist at the end but don't go into the movie with any expectations other then Neeson being a bad ass. 3 special sets of skills out of 5.

I saw The Nice Guys today and thought it was a good movie. I enjoyed that it was an original movie and it was well written. There were a lot of clever references to other parts of the film. It wasn't perfect but was far more creative than most of the films that come out.

Fun.

Mrs boo and Ms boo jr are raving about it.

I liked it. 7 out of 10. A solid "better than average".

Very busy movie with lots happening in the background and I want to live in Zootopia.

Just saw this tonight and it was great, it was laugh out funny in parts and had an entertaining enough story. The only voice I picked was Idris Elba - I'm real crap at picking voices, I thought Jason Bateman was Robert Downey Jnr..

I'd ................. rate ................. it .................. 8 ............... sloths ................ out ............... of ............... 10.
-
Watched Waynes World with the kids. Damn. I saw that at the cinemas in 92 and was seriously meh. But really enjoyed it this time round. Weird.

It really is. Goes for ages and yet just flies by.

Such terrific performances from all involved. Ya gotta wonder if De Niro and Pacino flipped a coin as to who played who cos they could have easily switched and the movie would have been no less awesome. Never realised one of the cops was Ted "It puts the lotion in the basket or else it gets the hose" Levine. That guy is a chameleon. If only McCauley could've forced himself to make a clean break and no gone back for Waingro.....

Spoiler Alert! ;)

Yeah great movie and highlights the benefits of a first draft (the LA Takedown TV version). De Niro and Pacino on top form.

Another awesome movie from that era is Carlito's Way, Al Pacino as a Cuban ex con, Sean Penn as a nearly unrecognisable Jewish lawyer and a support cast including Viggo Mortensen, John Leguizamo and Luis Guzman.

71 - movie about a British soldier left behind in Belfast after a raid goes wrong and him trying to get back to the barracks while being in danger from all sides. Pretty good and tense movie. 4 foul mouthed eight year old Irish boys out of 5.
-

Damn straight, Carlitos Way is outstanding as well. Between them and Scarface Pacino sure knows how to make movies I love.

Both De Palma. He's made some great movies (and some shockers).

Wow, never seen that, I knew it was based on another flick but never realized it was a carbon copy. Haha, the acting is shit although "Pacino" almost sounds the same if you close your eyes and pretend he cant' act.....

M4L, that shootout is just epic. Always felt a bit sorry for the black dude ( can't be arsed looking up his name ), he should have messed up his boss more in my opinion.....
-

The difference between De Niro and McArthur should become a dictionary definition for the expression chalk and cheese. I can't recall a more wooden monotone outside of the teacher in Charlie Brown.
-

I am watching Timecrimes. It is pretty, pretty average so far.

The Wolf Of Wall Street.

Sensational flick, 3 hours long, but one of those movies that didn't feel anything like being that long. DiCaprio and Hill are utterly convincing in their roles, and Margot Robbie is some sensational eye candy. It's a great story (I can't help but think a fair bit of embellishment on the truth though) though and a fascinating look into one side of Wall Street from that period in time.
