@Bovidae Don't think he's ever scrummed adequately at LH.

Interesting though that his 5 appearances for the ABs have all been at LH. As I've said before, this is a big NPC for Moli to prove he is worthy of a SR contract.

@Bovidae Staying fit and showing his body is up to the rigours of pro rugby will be a great start.

@Duluth Ben Funnell is back? Wasn't named in the original squad, like Franks. Maybe brought in for injured McAlister? He's a better option for Canterbury than Klein.

    McAlister & Klein are injured:

Strong form during pre-season and with the Canterbury Bโ€™s has seen Liam Allen also promoted to the NPC side along with Ben Funnell, whoโ€™s been called into the cover hooker, with Brodie McAlister and Shilo Klien both out with injury. Itโ€™ll be Funnellโ€™s first appearance in red and black since winning the 2017 grand final against Ta$man.

Good to hear he has overcome his struggles with long-covid.

    npunivai WE BACK ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

The last few months have been spent wondering when I would get over Long Covid and if Iโ€™d ever recover enough to get back on the field again.

A week ago I played my first game of rugby since COVID affected my heart. Yesterday I was able to back it up and was even more special to share it with my brother ๐Ÿค๐Ÿพ

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported, messaged, prayed for and helped me to get back to doing what I love. This oneโ€™s for you ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿพโค

Wow, that was brainless rugby by Ta$man. Trying to run it out from your 22 when you've been under the pump for the last 10 minutes.

Mataele has been everywhere in this game so far.

Canterbury go bang, bang after Hotham fails to clear twice in the space of a minute. The Ta$man forwards need to do a better job at protecting their halfback.

Ta$man are poor. Need to wake up or could be in for a thrashing

    17-3 after 18 minutes

Broken arm for Cullen Grace? Poor bugger, he should be an AB.
