@MiketheSnow are you taking about the talentless flog known as Fred Durst from Limp Biskit?
I slightly recall some issues with Woodstock '99 but nothing about how bad it was. To me it went to two things:
- Generational differences.
- Greed of the promoters.
I still recommend watching it, Especially after the rampant failure here that was Splendour in the Grass.
IT's a really interesting documentary I thought. Shows exactly how you shouldn't plan a music festival.
I quite liked a lot of Nu Metal music at the time. And it's exactly what the docs is all about, it's ability to amp you up. It's just such a shame that it looks ike most of my fellow fans are literally the worst people in America. Loudmouth young male dickheads who think they are above the law.
Some of the stuff that went down is crazy though. Those promoters / producers are very lucky not be in jail for complete negligence.
Yeah a strange mix. Those embarrassing Nu Metal bands…..plus Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson and the insanely hot Jewel.

Hot D, a teaser more than an episode. If you can get past the smash the patriarchy & black Valyrians it is a decent start. Although I had to laugh at the director's "50% of mediaeval women died in chidlbirth' stat, the juxtaposition of the tourney and the Queen's labour was interesting. Because childbirth is the real battle.
Anyway disengaing any thought's in that manner, looking forward to more dragons and sword fights, TV that I would've given anything as a kid to see.

I have been finishing off watching the last episodes of Ozark this week.
##spoiler
This is a show I have talked up, but I was disappointed with the final episode. It seems to be very polarising too, you either liked it or hated it.The car crash was a big tease, other than proving it seems that the Byrdes can't die. In the end they will do anything to stay together and survive, which I guess was the point. I really wanted Wendy to die a horrible death.
##endspoilerI just finished it tonight.
##spoiler
I was gutted Wendy didn't die a horrible death too.Pretty annoyed they killed off Ruth but the foreshadowing early in the episode was obvious as fuck.
The final scene of black and the gunshots was actually a pretty decent way to end, aside from the rest of the episode. Not as bad as the finale of The Man in the High Castle though.
At any rate it was a very good series.

Sandman anyone?
watched the first episode last night, different...will keep watching
It is very interesting that is for sure, if you just go for the ride. I thought the death episode was very interesting and well done. Only bugbear so far is the Ravens voice just seems off to me, almost comic like.
just watched that episode, loved it, could have watched more of their discussions throughout time,
##spoiler
and the look on the guys face when he accepting Dream wasn't coming and then when he heard the pub was being closed and the thought that "dream" wouldn't know where to find him next time, really goodDo you think he owns the new pub as a way of Dream finding him?

Agree. Probably wouldn’t have started it if not for your recommendation but glad I did.
Probably has the most believably horrible character I have seen in a while. What a complete and utter prick. Instantly has you taking sides.BTW: also has Bono’s daughter in it. She is building quite a good resume.

What we do in the shadows still delivers.
Has a knack of pulling out a truly funny moment or line just before reaching peak silliness.I thought that the first episode of S4 wasn't as strong as previous opening episodes. Baby Colin Robinson giving the password for the credit card got a laugh out of me though.

Probably just seems that way compared to her dad being a preachy rockstar dickhead and all his years of shit music.
While everyone is name dropping famous family members though Sharon Horgan is Shanes brother.

Just finishes S1 of Mystery Road To whoever recommended it, thanks, it was great. Judy Davis & Aaron Pederson were brilliant.

Black Bird
Very good.
Superbly cast, especially Paul Walter Hauser who played Hall.
Was 2 eps in before I'd checked something about it and found it was based on a true story!
We loved it, yes Hauser was exceptional and surely will win some awards, he looked just like the real dude. Hauser was excellent in the movie Richard Jewel as well. I was a little surprised the lead was Elton John in Rocketman, he clearly worked out for the role. The Agent is also hot as hell.
This was great. I like a nice short mini series.
I actually thought Egerton was the stand out acting wise. Was weird/sad seeing Liotta playing a character in such poor health. Was also weird seeing old whatshername from Outrageous Fortune.

@voodoo @Nepia I think that there were a few likeable supporting characters in the show, although they tended to get killed off.
##spoiler
In fact, the one Byrde family member (Jonah) who you think had a heart and some compassion ended up being just like the rest in the very end.
##endspoilerI enjoyed that to be fair

Just watched Animal Kingdom finale, pretty disappointing and pretty disappointing final season over all.
Everything seemed rushed, there seemed to be story threads that didn't go anywhere, new characters that weren't fleshed out or had no charisma, and it's not like they didn't know it was the final season.
Young Smurf is hot though.

Halfway through 1883 now....
So much better than Yellowstone.
Less cheese, more bleak.
Realistic.
Enjoying it.
Way more bleak.
Oh... titwatch? Nah.
The young beeatch's voiceover - initially annoying, less so as it became obvious this was an ode to the old Oregon Trail shit and it's romance-vs-perils... and now that she's wisened up to those perils another level... I'm going to guess is about to become even less annoying. Or.. more. -
