So where to now? I'm sure Jeff "the ABs are still the best in the world by some distance" Wilson believes Foster is the man and the record over the last 2 years is warranted to maintain the head coaching position.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON???

We were good for 30 mins then went to complete shit, back to the same old crap we've seen for the last 3 years. Aaron Smith stopped running, one up hit ups, poor passing and Codie Taylor is costing us meters and points. Will Jordan is a shadow of his attacking self but this is just fucked. What an embarrassment.

Will Jordan should be the fullback. he will break the line and cause chaos. Jordie is functional. Jordan is the closest thing we have to Ben Smith/Dagg in the the squad.

I guess you missed Jordie setting up a try?

    ah come on mate.

I guess if you ignore all evidence to the contrary, then your argument stands.

Rieko made that try by fixing 2 defenders. Jordie had a simple draw and pop.

Im talking about a consistent body of work at line breaking. Its facetious to suggest Jordie over Jordan.

I like Jordie. but if he isn't going to be taking the kicks would it be any worse to have Jordan at FB today and Reece on the right wing?

Jordie ran the line that made that try possible. The bloke you think is only a winger drew two players and gave the pass to the fullback running the right line.

Meanwhile Jordan couldn't beat a defender the entire game.

Yeh Jordan was nothing this game, and it's not Joride's fault Mo'unga insists on taking the kicks. Joride kicks, we win this game.

But I'm glad we didn't, we didn't deserve to.

And I hope we lose the next 3, there has been so much paper covering cracks. Hansen sticks to his guns and leaves Foster to do the 2 years running up to RWC19, and then Foster is gone. Henry not being a complete wankstain about his boys club after the shit leading upto 2019 and Foster is gone. Have a decent board that knows about high performance, and is not sucked in by Covid sob stories Foster is gone. Have a CEO that has some experience and balls when things go wrong this year, and Foster is gone. But I think that is the only way we will get change that should have happened in 2017/2020/2021/2022 is for our results to be so bad, so obviously beyond the pale that even NZR and Robinson with their heads so far up their own arseholes can see it.

If that means coming last in RC and losing the Bled**, then that is a price worth paying to get NZ high performance back on track. Hopefully this Silver Lake deal required review cleans out the board and management as well. We know NZR doesn't have the competence or balls to get rid of him, and Foster (and the board) don't have the honour to fall on their own swords, we need short term pain to start the long term gain. If Foster had any honour or respect for the black jersey he would've resigned by now.

This new low is so far from acceptable it is not funny

**Oh and Eden Park record, cos Foster collects those shit records like he does shit vinyl ones. Fifth time lucky for NZR?

Congrats to Perofeta on his debut. He’s a good player and hopefully he gets an actual run in the upcoming matches.

I sort of hate that last couple of minutes subbing. The “Kevin Senio” sub.

            Cliches:

            A leopard doesn't change it's spots.

Well, Ian Foster is a born fucking loser promoted through the mediocrity worshipping NZ system. Sam Cane is another absolute born loser.

Guess what? It's another record loss!

How many more times must we suffer these absolute losers getting owned at test level?

Oh maybe after 5 years they will come right?

Fuck NZ Rugby, Fuck Foster, and Fuck Cane.

Ioane made 2 passes the whole game and conceded 3 turnovers. A centre he is not.
And the stats they showed that had NZ easily dead last in turnovers made is the most damming indictment on Canes performance as a 7.

Congrats to Perofeta on his debut. He’s a good player and hopefully he gets an actual run in the upcoming matches.

I sort of hate that last couple of minutes subbing. The “Kevin Senio” sub.

In the past we always had young stars coming through. We do not have them now. Is this because in participation terms the game is dwindling fast?
In Wellington and Auckland the numbers playing football are three to four times greater than Rugby. In fact in Wellington if it were not for the Polynesian community the game would be dead.

Twenty years ago Eden Park and Sky Stadium would be close to full for an NPC game now it is "spot the spectator"

Rugby has deeper issues than the All Blacks but NZ Rugby choses to ignore them or cover up.

I don't think we will ever see a dominant All Blacks team again. With better coaching we could be consistently competitive though.

Gregor Paul was on Irish podcast after the South Africa game to talk about Fosters backing from NZRU.

He opined that maybe a lot of the players backed Foster because if Razor was appointed they would be dropped....
