Agree with the above about Sansa keeping that wee nugget about LF coming to the rescue...assume Jon thinks the gods had a plan for him so cruised out thinking they want him alive so is untouchable.

The dragons, my guess is the chains never really held them anyway, although the walls a bit more? Gotta say the CGI of the dragons up close with Dany on the back is superb.

That Greyjoy girl has a fine ass....

All the other chicks on the show and SHE is the one you perve at ?!?!?!

Bolton was just such a good despicable arsehole bad guy, every time you felt a shred of sympathy you could always guarantee he'd get rid of those feelings with his next actions. I will definitely miss him though. Lets hope Euron Greyjoy is as much of a prick.

that first battle was spectacular enough and could have easily livened up a few duller episodes ( of which there's been a few ), last nights episode is definitely gonna need repeated viewings methinks.
-

Surely that was a stunt arse. -

I think Yara Greyjoy is more attractive than the frizzy haired girl.

She actually has some character to her. I guaratee if you asked her to tell a joke she wouldnt start rabbiting on about translators. It is almost like the writers are trying to make ole frizzy hair as boring as possible.

That episode was fantastic. I loved the battle scene. struggling to think of a episode of any TV series I have enjoyed more.

I think the interaction between the Greyjoys and Daenerys was fantastically well handled as well.
-

If frizzy hair got it straightened or cut really short she'd be super hot (ter ).

Not sure if I liked this or the Hardhome episode more. Might have to do a back to back and compare. Perhaps for utter hopeless despair ( ie the dead rise at the end as the ships sail away ) perhaps the latter pips it at the post.
-

I wondered that as well. I hope not. But I suspect .. yes.

And taught the useless fluffybunny to kick. He should have waded through that shield barrier.

Isit wun wun skelton? -

given Winterfell is supposed to be this impenetrable fortress, they made it in pretty easy...granted they had a giant smash the door, but a simple battering ram woulda done the same job too.

Putting on my nerd hat..... They didnt have the time to brace it. They had only just shut it and put a single bar across. In a siege they would reinforce it and brace it into a strong point.

A giant breaking one braceand smashing trhough one layer of wood ... isnt that bigger deal
-

Yip armour and big huge club for Wun wun.. and that entire Bolton army was toast.

didn't look like much else they could have done though to make it harder to bust through...Ramsay still seemed confident that 'we have Winterfell'

What promises did Sansa make to LF - marriage or just a shag, he is pretty calculating, so you'd think the former, or there is something else at the heart of it.

So whats up in the finale? Walder Frey gonna get his just (red) desserts? More White Walker action? Dany and Missande gonna get it on finally?
-

As I said, Tyrion already removed the chains from the dragons a couple of episodes ago. Agree the CGI looked fantastic, that is a very difficult thing to pull off without it looking naff.

Wow, we will have to wholeheartedly disagree there! I don't think Yara is hot at all! :)
-

Good point, perhaps what he promised him is why she withheld the information from Jon? Surely he will be asking questions about that in the next episode...
-

yes he did remove them, but didn't we see chains broken as they escaped?
-

Yara looks very......lesbianish...........not "hot" lesbianish either. Wun Wun was obviously tough as fuck but not "singlehandedly wiping out 6000 blokes tough". Even covered head to toe and armed appropriately he still woulda been toast. I really hope he wasn't the last of his kind as I want to see them fuck up some more White Walkers down the line.

-

all he needed was a 20ft tree stump to be smashing those dudes behind the shields given they were just standing and moving forward, doing very little; swing away Wun Wun, swing away!

I guess it depends how deep the phalanx went as with each swing one way he'd be exposing himself on the other side to attacks from spears/arrows. Mind you took enough of them to bring the big fella down and he barely had any armour. Makes the Giant who got killed by a single Ballista shot look like a pussy that's for sure......
-
Iirc, in the books, the giants were riding mammoths. Just one or two of those would fark up an entire army. It was a bit weird that he went into battle without a weapon or even some type of helm.

Yara is rough as. That lesbian stuff is typical for the show. In the books she really really likes cock.
