From a NH neutral perspective this Championship is exciting as all hell
Form book being ripped up
Don't want to sound like a dick, but I've never cared about winning the RC. I honestly couldn't even hazard a guess at the number times each of us has won.
I care about retaining the Bled and about every game against SA, and I've always taken winning against the Argoes for granted (
)....but never focussed on this as a complete tournament -

Is it bizarre? Do you really count RC wins the way a European pundit cares about 6N wins?
I understand your point that if we win the games i care about then we likely win the tournament too, but I genuinely do not care about this tournament. If we win it as a result of retaining the Bled and beating SA, then great. But I have zero idea who has won this comp the most, I have no idea what the current standings this year are.
All I care about is that we suck, that we split SA, that we might lose the Bled and our Eden Park aura, and that we have made all kinds of history with home losses.
The RC outcome isn't even close to being top of mind.

Indeed, as a sports fan it's everything you could want! Every chance Boks and ABs win Saturday and the table will be one of the most even seen in a major rugby tournament for many years.

@MiketheSnow it's way to early to peak. It's more important to build depth now and take a few losses. Reminding the Boks lost in round 1 in the last WC and peak at the right time. From a Bok perspective they perform best as underdog. Our big tests is in Nov
