All that was needed was putting the ball thru hands... Mounga, Jordie, RI and Beauden or RI just holds it and scores.

That cutout pass was just stupid as it allows the defence to slide.

I disagree. That cutout pass has worked well so often. There was no reason to think it would fail this time. It failed because of RI; or BB.

The concern I have is that we have had multiple chances to score tries and haven't been able to convert. NZ used to be the masters at taking half chances and turning them into tries.

Currently our lack of finishing is hurting us badly.

Oz defence was compressed and focused on Jordie. It looked the right play from ground level.
