I played in the centres for years... cutout passes like that allow the defence to slide. Ball thru the hands holds the defence as Jordie comes into play.

I played in the centres for years... cutout passes like that allow the defence to slide. Ball thru the hands holds the defence as Jordie comes into play.
There was oodles of space for Ioane because of how we set up and how Oz defence was. Ioane needed to back himself to use the space.

Either strategy would have worked. Just mucked up the execution. Reiko needed to straighten and then draw and pass. Easy try.
