NPC 2022

Looks likes NZR might have found someone with a brain. That draw carefully dances around the Women's RWC.

Sky could have been cynical and not bothered if there was a clash. I'm sure NZR wouldn't have been happy though.
The QFs have worked out well as there are three derbies, including a big grudge match in Wellington.

I didn't realise Melani Nanai is back in the country with BOP.
I guess he's been caught up with the Worcester drama.
@KiwiMurph Hasn't played in NPC. Injured all season possibly

I know we have moved on from the NPC and talking about Super sides, but I want to say I really enjoyed the NPC this year.
I enjoyed that it seemed most teams had the ability to beat any other on their day and for me, it seemed there were more youngsters announcing themselves this year. It looks like there is some serious talent coming through.
It may be a Mickey Mouse competition as some called it, but it got me watching consistently for the first time in god knows how long.

@Crazy-Horse agree mate. I couldnāt watch all 80 minutes of every game but watched a condensed version of each game and liked what I saw from many āno nameā players that seemed to take their chance.
I also liked the variation in styles. Super rugby teams have a lot of sameness and maybe Iām a bit jaded from the last couple of years of those teams playing each other a thousand times - the NPC did show that there is still some imagination and innovation in NZ rugby.
Only shame was that there wasnāt any finals to top off a great seasonā¦
