Watched a replay of that Adelaide 36ers v Phoenix Suns game - lights out from the 36ers. Shot the 3 ball so well. Suns played their stars and the 36ers played decent D on them.

36ers have a very good squad with some size and shooters.

    Good win from the 36ers.

Taipans go to last year's grand finalists and flog them. Significantly better start than we have had recently.

Though i seem to remember a year we went to Brisbane and won in R1 and then didn't win again for fucking ages.

@voodoo and some of those 3s that Randall and Franks hit were from the logo.

36ers play OKC and old teammate Josh Giddey next. Should be more fun.

Are they on tour and not playing NBL regular season games?

The NBAxNBL initiative that had been going on for a couple of years prior to COVID. Usually one or two NBL teams play 2-3 tour games (NBA preseason). 36ers will come back and go straight into the season.

This was the first ever NBL win against an NBA side. It was 0-18 dating back to quite a few years ago. I remember watching the World Club championship when I was a teenager and the winners from various leagues came together. Watched the Perth Wildcats get towelled up by the Houston Rockets. A couple of years ago Melb United almost snagged a win.

ESPN used to show these games but I couldn’t find the Phoenix one so watched some dodgy stream.

They looked good. They have size and shooting. I know it’s only game 1 but from what I saw late last year and then for the Boomers this year and then last night, Pinder is Mr Reliable. He makes good decisions and he has developed excellent touch around the basket.

Jackjumpers looked a little lost without Josh Adams. Went through patches of no flow.

Pinder limping off definitely a scare though!

Hopefully it was just a stinger as he did come back on the court.

Wasn't that in 95? You must have been mid-30's around then...

Man we made hard work of that. But great to get a win after a long drought.

Thought some of our subbing was a bit strange. A poor stretch when we didn’t have enough scoring on the court.

I switched channels after the rugby and that was midway through Q4. I have recorded the game but I'm not sure I'll watch the whole game. Good to see a decent crowd there.

Didn't have fluidity on offence this game and fell in kive with the 3 again. Lost concentration on the D glass and shot fouls poorly. Nice close out in the end and a hard fought win for the home fans

If there’s been a more scrappier, turnover laden, lots of missed gimmes, NBL game, then I haven’t watched it.

Happy for the Taipans to get the win, but there was some tough moments to watch. McCall, I’m a huge fan because he is a pass first guard, but he is rocks and diamonds.

On the other hand Shannon Scott is a baller.

Creek did everything he could to try and carry his team, but most of them were TO city or couldn’t hit the side of a barn.

Your opinion means nothing to me because we started with 2 on the road

    And we're 2-0
