JJ reddick just did a long form interview with Ben Simmons. Be interesting lesson (hopefully) tomorrow. Or he could just disappear for the majority of the interview

@voodoo had a relationship with a staff member of the organisation. According to reports it was a consensual relationship, but the policy is that they can’t have relationships.

Why suspend him? Either fire him or just get on with it.

@mariner4life I think most of the NBA fan world is just realising that Udoka’s partner is/was actress Nia Long and everyone is like, what the hell bro?

Ok basketball nerds, you will be better judges than me, highlight package looks like a cheat code (but I am no expert)

..supposedly the next big thing with teams already rumoured to be tanking this season to pick him up...

whats your thoughts? is Victor Wembanyana the real deal?

    @bayimports dunno yet

certainly looks like it. But then watching Zion Williamson in college it looked like he would dominate too, and he can't stay on the court. Will that lanky streak of piss stay healthy? Can he handle being bodied by other freak NBA athletes?

That length and those ball skills does look like another Kevin Durant. And KD is really fucking good.

Like that guy OKC drafted this year. Looks like he'd blow away in a decent wind and already succumbed to a season ending injury in preseason

@bayimports I think a season in pro ball in France will be good for him (and probably better than playing college, given his prospects for next years draft).

I watched that game and I don’t think he is like KD. When KD was playing for Uni of Texas, he had that edge in his game and mentality. Bought that to his first season with Seattle and the rest is history. The kid has talent but so many dudes do. It will be his mentality and so let’s see what happens in the French league.

I'm pretty high on the kid having not seen much footage. He looks like he moves really well. Of that shot is genuine he could be KD-like, but he also looks like he runs like Giannis - if he fills out he could be anything.

Playing against grown men will be a step up for sure, but wow, what physical gifts

He is the real deal IMO. He's got such good perimeter skills (at 7'4"!) he doesn't need to so much of the physical and risky stuff inside.

Zion I reckon will have a monster season this year now he's cut all the weight.

Wiggins, Warriors agree to 4-year, $109M deal

Wiggins, Warriors agree to 4-year, $109M deal

Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins has agreed to a four-year, $109 million extension, his agents told ESPN.

Should have been an easy decision for Wiggins. After his Minny experience, I'm sure he must love being a contributor as their third option on a perennial championship contender who play a fun style

and the season is now basically upon us

As usual, the West will be a bloodbath. The Warriors already exist, and should be actually getting better. The Clippers are back. Denver get two important players back. The younger teams from last year's playoffs will go again. The Suns you would think drop away this year, too much to deal with.

In the East Boston will want to go a step further, The Bucks will be at the pointy end. How do the Sixers hold up all year? Can Brooklyn make it work?

All i know is the Spurs are a lottery team. Expect some hard tanks this year.

The Lakers look like they'll be as much of a clown show as last year. Amazing to think how hard and unnecessarily they blew up the bubble championship team.

@TeWaio and loving every moment of it 😉

I was a big Michigan fan during the Glen Rice era and Rob Pelinka was a good role player and tenacious, but he has cooked the golden goose at the Lakers.

if (and it's a massive if) LBJ and Davis can play 60 games each they'll make the playoffs.

I agree. Pat Bev for all his fuckwitness is a good addition too. Can shoot, defend, and plays hard.

And he takes minutes off Russ....
