    @Crucial I know exactly where Fairlie is and because I know I won't be going there anytime soon I looked up stockists. There are two in Te Ika a Maui. One in Wellington and the other just past Mystery Creek on the way to Te Awamutu.

    That's alright, just had me really confused with your OP 😉

    Didn't realise there was a stockist in Welly though!

    According to their website there is a cafe on Thornton quay that sells them. Don’t know if it’s still true.

    The olds will be happy to hear that if true. Pretty sure Fairlie cafe is the only reason their bikie gang goes to the SI.

    @Crucial I have just walked back to the car from the I-bike cafe on Thorndon Quay.

    I can confirm they have a pie warmer branded Fairlie Pies. Also that it was empty at noon

    I was told they don’t really do pies that often ☹

    Now I’m hangry

    @Crucial stopped. got pie. ate pie. Superb.

    Better Half reckons one of the best she's had.

    @nzzp Just a tip.

    If, like us recently, find there is a long queue at the bakery and you don't feel like waiting the BP station just down the road stocks the pies as well.

    The line was well down the street the other week.

    @Crucial also stopped in at the west coast pie company in Westport. Really interesting pies, but not as good as Fairlie.
