This could probably go in the Inflation thread but that place has too many words I don't understand so I am rescuing this thread from page two.
Anyway, I now have to spend at least $36 every two to three weeks just so my cats can go for a shit!
I grabbed $5 in coins out of my coin jar today so I could get a couple of BBQ Pork Buns from the bakery in Chinatown. They used to be $1.95 each so I thought I'd be sweet with $5 to cover inflation ... nope, they are now $3.30 so I only got to have one.
At least your inflation might go down.
I think the latest projections over here that it's going to be higher by the end of 2022 than earlier predicted. I doubt the price of my BBQ Pork Buns will go down.

I was talking about the effects on your puku of less pork buns.

I love Asian food. But pork buns are the pits. Sludgy dough with a minuscule amount of off-the-shelf-saucy pig offal stuffed inside. Fucking terrible.
My kids love em though, heathens all of them.

Where are you having BBQ pork buns? I genuinely don't think I know anyone IRL who doesn't like BBQ pork buns. Even my Jewish and Muslim friends love them.
Are we talking about the same ones?

I've had em everywhere. They're soooo average. Not disgusting, just so boring. Have absolutely nothing on a quality steamed dumpling.

Oh, they're just two different foods to me.
I'm genuinely confused by this whole interaction.
Tastebuds aye!

Wouldn't this be a pointer to how much pork is in them?
I don't want to support the production of these bland appetisers, but I think that was @Nepia 's intentional gag

You know youโre a GOM when you want to slap people you see using their phone like this
FUCK!
Fuck I hate that. People walking around holding it out like that in front of them to talk, and then holding it up to their ear to listen.
I mean... what the fuck? Are they actually that stupid? Or are they eliminating any chance of the other person interrupting?
I genuinely don't get it. It's not like there aren't examples of people using a phone properly for them to observe.
Fucking fluffybunnies - gives me the absolute shits. -

Or they are just piston wristed gibbons

@Victor-Meldrew Can you do one array of 9 and another of 5 and then join them later? Sounds bloody stupid to me.
I'd have to get planning permission for the additional 5 as it takes the total size over the limit.
Can you get hold of the planning requirements document yourself?
Does it say anything about fixtures / concrete or something similar?
Because if you ground mount using screw-in poles without any concrete required, maybe you get around the rules on "fixed" structures? i.e. if it is just bored into the ground, it is effectively temporary and such... -
Different rules here, Nick. This has now moved onto pure Kafkaesque theatre involving red lines on maps, blue lines on maps, whether the cable run forms a boundary of "the works" and is within a red line or blue line and whether the PV panel support structure could be used as a greenhouse. And no, I'm not making any of this up.

They are too vague. They will look into what I'm trying to do and tell me what/if planning permission is needed....for a charge of ยฃ450/$800.
Will update later.

My parents-in-law took 8 or 9 years to finally get permission to make another house on their plot - a entire acre, one (if not the) biggest in the village
