@Kruse if you’re not too busy is there any chance you could give this flick a review ?
Fuck. No.
Never seen it, never want to.
I remember when it came out... just the lowest of low "gross-out" comedy, from my recollection of the "vibe".
But I'm not even watching the trailer to confirm. -

But I'm not even watching the trailer to confirm.I suspect it’s one of the worst “comedies”ever made. Just looks absolutely retarded as fuck and about as funny as Cancer.
I am surprised you’re not taking one for the team though.

Congratulations. You've found my line.
I thought pretty much everybody else had seen it though - it was quite "famous" at the time. -

I was scrolling through YouTube and I do remember seeing the trailer back in the day when the flatties and I had, hmmm, I think it was Saturn TV ?
Fairly sure that’s the only flick we didn’t watch and we sat through some absolute shit.

But I'm not even watching the trailer to confirm.@MN5 I've had the displeasure of seeing it. I had a bit of a thing for watching the Razzie Award winners back in the day. And I liked the Tom Green show. But yeah, it's absolute shit. Can't remember much other than one scene where he grabs an erect horse penis and starts spraying it around.

Black Panther - Wakanda Forever: I thought this was pretty ho hum, watchable but that's about it. Too much CGI. Pretty average villain and story.
Best scenes were one not really related to the story and a cameo.
I preferred Dr Strange and Thor but I suspect this will make a bigger box office.

@Nepia i have to go with Dr Strange 2 > Black Panther 2 > Thor 4....think Thor went off the rails...especially with the giving kids the power of thor thing....couldn't give that to everyone during endgame?
i liked black panther in general, another great sound track etc and i liked Shuri's arc, M'baku is awesome
##spoiler
is M'baku the king now?
##endspoilerbut dont think we needed more people in full ironman suits...part of what made the warriors in black panther cool is the did it all as humans....and why is the boat so far out of the water?....like so may marvel films in the last phase i think it it a bit frayed at the end
-
Yes. Thor 4 was shit on every level.
-
@Catogrande i think ive said this before, im sure theyre carving Thor and GotG and maybe captain marvel off from the rest, so we'll have "space adventures" with those too, more comedy adventure stuff...and then the main MCU which will remain earth focused, the "multiverse saga"....i wouldnt be surprised if thor isn't in the avengers films going forward

I'm Thor, Dr Strange, BP. But not much between Thor and Strange. On the giving powers to kids and why didn't they do that in other movies, TBF I think about that in so many Marvel movies. It's the suspension of disbelief you have to take sometimes I guess.
The characters, especially the ones from 1 are all fine in BP, it's the story I had an issue with.
##spoiler
That was weird, it seemed like he was challenging - I thought they'd return to show us but they didn't.I agree on the boat stuff and the suits, also, why did the most advanced society on earth not have some aircraft nearby in case they needed them for the retreat?
##endspoiler -
@Nepia generally im the first to talk about suspending belief...something about that just really grated ...hell, do it in infinity war to the wakandan warriors and Thanos never snaps the first time
and i just dont see it as being needed for the thor 4 plot so why introduce it?...just either have less bad guys or have thor actually call on some of the other super heros he knows to help in the final battle...like those kids parents

As it didn't bug me in the slightest I haven't really thought about it, I assume they just thought it would be cool to have kids fighting.

it's funny, but right up to End Game i rushed out to every Marvel movie within a week of opening
I haven't watched one since. Wait, yes i have, i watched Spiderman: Far From Home. That was the last one.
Watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and found it okaaaay.
I think i am sorta done with the whole Superhero genre. Too much, and we reached an incredible conclusion. Lets leave it at that aye?
-
@mariner4life i am definitely more likely to wait for them to come to disney+ than go to the cinema, went to BP2 because i loved the first one but watched thor at home

Yeah, that's an issue with the culmination of all those earlier movies in Infinity War and End Game.
I watch a movie in the cinema every week so will likely watch them all (hell I even watch the DC movies).
I guess they're still doing well enough at the moment that Marvel will keep pumping them out and I think they're gearing up for another End Game style conclusion soon.
The main benefit of the TV shows is that they're often short episodes so it's not too much of a commitment to watch them.
