That cousin of his that he married must be in her 30s now. I wonder what she looks like.

He sure had a hot Mother-in-Law.

Yeah bit of an awkward one. His music ( to me ) was never good enough to make me forget that he was essentially a creepy paedo to be honest.

Sounded like a very unlikeable arsehole too.

    Mimi Parker from Low.
Shit... they were still pumping out excellent albums.
I know what tomorrow's soundtrack is going to be....

(If you don't know them - don't judge by the first minute of any song... they're a fucking excellent mixture of pregnant silences, heavy-as-fuck distortion, and sloooow build-ups to pay-offs.)
Or, if you need celebrity endorsement....

Jesus Christ, I thought for a sec Robert Plant had passed away.

Don’t ever do that again @Kruse

RIP indeed. One of the underrated riff masters of the great instrument.

Happy memories of car rides with the old man in the 80s listening to them. Awesome band.

    Love his work here.

He's been flirting with the big C for a while now. Sad news.
Much imitated guitar style based on not really knowing what he was doing. Found a technique that worked and kicked on from there.
It was the manic stare and stage performance that really set him apart though and he got another few minutes of fame as Ned Stark's Executioner

I have shared this before in the music thread but it is worth doing so again. You can judge the man by the quality of the friends he keeps. Roger and Norman certainly ain't no slouches.

I can't upvote a death but I have always preferred McVie's voice to Nicks. RIP.

Thought they were both great. Songbird is a stunning song as is Dreams.

Sad she's gone. Her music was part of my growing up.

Not my cup of tea, much preferred when Lindsay sang to be honest.

In any case she sold a fuck ton of records so good on her.

    RIP.

    Well fuck it.....

I saw the Mac a few years ago. They were due in Auckland minus Christine McV but the tour was postponed because John McVie was diagnosed with cancer. When they finally came she had rejoined the band so I got to see Mick, Stevie, Lindsay, Christine and John together. It was great
