Fucking good work Bart,

Just out of curiousity where did you find your trainer? I can get to 10-12% but struggle to go lower, would love to have an eating/cardio/weights plan from an actual former bodybuilder (which I assume is what has happened?)

Where would I find someone like that and how much does it cost? also how long did it take you to get from 10% to 6%?

fucking impressive Bart, I trust you're going to follow the obligatory half bottle of wine the night before the competition to make sure you're dehydrated enough to be properly cut on the day? Just make sure you're not too dehydrated, apparently collapsing with cramps whilst posing is pretty painful...

Bart obviously things like pushups and pull ups will be a breeze now but how are your strength gains ? as powerful as when you were a rampaging front rower ?

Hey Bar - Teresa Edwards, multi time NZ champion as carious things! She is wicked - from the eating plan to the training - all mapped out, you just have to get stuck in and DO IT!!

WHere abouts are you based? If in NZ, i could ask Teresa who is good nearby to you?

Dodge - Trainer has all that sorted for us, carbing up and down and chocolate and booze and you name it. I thin the Allies on D-Day weren't as organised as Teresa!!

October 10 - Wellington Regional Championships - Lower Hutt Town Hall. Anyone who wants to come along and shoud for Mr and Mrs BartMan feel free, apparently is good for competitors to hear plenty of noise while on stage in their fucked up mental states!!! WIll let you know about that one!

MN%, nope, not as powerful as all - the maxim that mass moves mass is right! However, did chin ups for the first time in months today, part of a triple set, chins first, but cranked out three sets of ten easy - struggling with the last two reps of the last set. But with bodyweight down, they were bloody ridiculously easy!

thanks Weka and company - light at the end of the tunnel now, and it's not a train!

Saturday is now officially named 'chocolate day'! Then Saturday off, and back in the saddle for, potentially, if we qualify, nationals two weeks later.

And then maninentance, work on weak points (like my spelling), and look ahead and see what we do next.
abut 30 kilos different there BI!!!

I am competing in 'athletic', which is the little boys, I want to do physique, which is the big boys, but will have to work hard on chest / shoulders / upper body in general to do that. Is very hard to get this weight down, and want to lift heavy weights and grow!

    Champions!!

Novice Athletic Champion and overall Athletic champion.

Mrs Bartman got second over 35 womens figure to a chick that has been competing for 2 years - judge came down and said to us only because she did not show her 'V' properly - inexperience.

And Wellington mixed pairs champs.

Judges stoked with both of our physiques. Said they were happy to see two well conditioned 'athletes' joining the ranks, most people were surprised that we had only been training for only 7 months and looking so wicked.

anyway, nationals in two weeks, labout weekend sunday Westlake Boys High auditorium.

Will post some photos at some stage.

But bloody great fun, and in Mitch Speak a great journey!!

I'm so happy for you both.

For Mrs Bartman to get 2nd against a 2yr bodybulder is awesome and I will bet that she will beat her at the NZ champs as now she knows what needs to be done to beat her.

I'm not too surprised about these results either. The amount of hard work you have both put in is seeing the reward you desreve!! Simply magnificent!!!! Both of you!
