On the game, dare I suggest I know fuck all, but seemed to me one of those games where the inferior team did enough to worry the superior team that just couldn't ice it from one of their many, many chances.

Seems pretty fair on what I watched.
WC very different from leagues..much bigger chances of upsets. Really enjoyed this match and was screaming at the box on that Aussie blokes run. Shame it wasn’t to be.
RG should have been 5 up by then.

Team of unfancied players requires moment of Messi brilliance and GK stuff up to lose to one of soccers superpowers. If that was NZ would have been happy. Sure they offered little going forward but they were a well coached well drilled side. We see what your crew offer up against Senegal.

I totally agree with you, but I was really disappointed with what I saw due to a lack of actually trying to score goals. I really expected Aussie to take more risks, which they failed to do until about the 70th minute.
No need for whataboutery. The pluses and minuses of England are very well known, although not sure how I feel about them being known as my crew ... !
