Due to injuries? I think Tali Ioasa is one of the players who unfortunately got injured early in the tournament, yesterday (I can't remember seeing him since he left the field - in game 1 or 2 - while grabbing his hammy). Probably a few more.

@Stargazer When they showed the team lists Brodie Robinson was listed first. He was the starting left winger for Hamilton BHS all year so I don't know why he wasn't in Thailand. Andrew Smith wasn't dressed to play either, so must be another injured. I think King Maxwell ended up in another team.

Tai Cribb was in the Māori squad but was listed as injured when the squads were announced.

The Aussie boys aren't of the same quality as their girls team.

@Crucial they were solid but never struck me as a team that could go deep but thats the nature of 7s you can look unbeatable on one day and then crash on day 2
