Meri Kirihimete ki a koutou katoa
I'l be swimming during the day (the good weather has finally arrived in Sydney) then Xmas dinner at mates place - which has turned into a potluck by accident as I decided to bring a ham as that's what reminds me most of Xmas back home. Then everyone else decided to bring stuff they liked.

I'm in NZ, but Cornish wife and kids are at her parents place in coverack. Apparently they're going to do the Xmas swim!
They’re welcome to it. I did the Exmouth one a year or two ago and cheated with a wetsuit. It was still ball-achingly cold.
I'm going to show moral support by swimming in Northland hahahahaha

Merry Christmas. Quiet one as I save leave and money for France. The family is all in Qld so it's us, the cats and dogs and finally some warmer weather. Also an opportunity to make a 2 x 7m wire trellis for some wisterias we apparently needed to plant...

Been great at Casa del Boo so far.
Have had my 19yo channelling her inner 7yo, wanting to play board games, reliving old Walter Wick puzzle books (this one in particular
), and sorting the Christmas playlist while we tour the Christmas light displays.

Drove down to Kent today. Roads were pretty empty.
Staying the night at a Premier Inn (budget hotel) and they were giving out presents on arrival and the staff are inviting guests to Christmas drinks. Nice touch.
