Good catch Labuscagne. He’s the best Saffa in the match

    SA 67/5

Getting two hands to it was the most impressive part. A lot of fielders will semi panic and just throw a hand out in the hope it sticks, whereas he never looked liked dropping it.

To be fair it’s quicker to phone ahead to get them these days

I’d ordered online - yet still only got back on time to see Green walking off holding up the ball!

    Last 5 wickets: 10 runs, 3.9 overs.

    64.5 Green to Verreynne, OUT
    66.1 Green to Jansen, OUT
    66.6 Green to Rabada, OUT
    67.3 Lyon to Maharaj, OUT
    68.4 Green to Ngidi, OUT

The top order might have issues but the tail is fucking awful. Beyond fucking awful.

The most selfish Australian player that’s a big call, I can names 20 other to rival that statement.
Not a Warner fan but he kept his mouth shut through that SA sand paper fiasco .
A couple of the main culprits got off scot free.
He took most of the blame and a couple of bowlers got away with that one.
A lot more to that story if you talk to a few people.
As I said not a Warner fan but he didn’t nark add I will give him that.

Labuschagne had the option to call no given he'f run through the crease a long way.

Is Warner a fluffybunny? Sure. But he's not always to blame for everything

Queenslanders fucking hate Warner. Or anyone from NSW. Particularly when a QLDer suffers.

    spot on.

But he thinks his ongoing taking of the fall and lying is 'leadership'. That I disagree with.

His book when he retires is going to be a cracker I reckon

No leadership shown by Warner he should never be given any leadership roles neither should Smith he is knee deep in the whole show.
It will be a great read and may bring down a couple of careers and hurt some Australian cricket officials who lied their butts off.

Starc won't play in Sydney due to a finger injury (6 weeks).

Anyone still want to blame the pitch for South Africa being shit at batting?

    you still beating that drum?

I don’t think anyone on here rates the Proteas batting. Their top order is brittle and their lower order are a shout back to the 80s and early 90s lower orders.

But that Gabba wicket was a shocker. Why were the Aussie batters speaking out about it too?

    Pity?
Maybe they wanted to blame the pitch instead of their technique as well?
Maybe they wanted to play mind games with the visiting team?

Ultimately they were saying it was tough to bat on. Elgar asked the umpires whether it was dangerous.

    Test batsmen have gone soft.

The pitch might not have been balanced perfectly but sometimes that needs to happen.
