Was great to see Barry Brown catch on fire and deliver in a big game. He had an amazing start and middle of the season but I thought he had gone a bit quiet and shied away from clutch time.
Pardon and Loe were massive too. Loe got 8 boards and 5 of those offensive. We will need him against the likes of Soares.
I think we match up well against the Kings. We will throw Brantley and Abercrombie at Cooks. Le’Afa will step up D on Walton Jnr.
We need McDowell-White to fire. His last two games shooting, 2-7 (0-3 3pt) and 3-10 (0-5 3pt)

Big time game from WMW, 19/9/9. And ran the show superbly.
Kings are a good side. They know how to make runs. But man I was impressed with our composure to hit a big shot and make a play defensively when we needed it.
Brantley and Brown Jnr were big.
Loe continues to make really good contributions especially on the glass.
Abercrombie did a defensive number on Cooks. Tommy has the length and still has a bit of bounce in those old legs to trouble Cooks.
When we want to we can play some of the best team basketball in the league.
Now we go home and need to take care of business.

A low-scoring grind suits the Breakers. Brown Jr to take over in the 2nd half again. :crossed_fingers:

They for away fast but our D has slowed them right down. As poorly as we shot only down by 4 is a tribute to our tough defence
-
Man we have played so nervy. WMW having a stinker. Sydney playing the house down without Cooks and Walton Jnr
Simon is a defensive machine. Has such quick hands and anticipation.
-
Game has come to life for the Breakers but they may run out of time.
The Kings coach looks like he has modelled his look on the typical bad guy from an 80s movie -

A hard watch. I'd be happy if the away team continues to win out.

We lost our way defensively and allowed Noi and DJ to get it going.
Not enough scoring though.

Just got back. We gave ourselves a great chance going into half time. But our shots wouldn't fall, we turned it over a whole lot, and our defence went to pieces. After all that we came back and got within 10. But that was the worst team shooting display I've seen from the Breakers this season

That 3rd quarter was a shocker. Some shots were just unlucky in and outs, but a heap we forced and just lost the plot with any structure.
Would be nice if we could hit our free throws too. Although the Kings missed a bunch also.
Just a frustrating game especially in front of our crowd.
