    Magic. Brilliant finish!

Didn't dare check posts on here or Cricinfo given the b-u-f-f-e-r-i-n-g of the utterly shithouse Spark Sport, but it was worth the wait of a couple of minutes in the end.

I hope we never have to find out, but I suspect Wagner would still find a way to run on a broken leg.

Also have to admit that is a far better Sri Lankan side than what we have seen here for a while, some shrewd bowling near the end and almost pulled it off themselves, when Southee went out I was getting very nervous lol

phew, I'm spent. What an emotional finish... kind of built from nowhere. Two tests in a row ... who says this sport is boring? More please!

Is there any chance of a future "back caps" talent to come in for Wagner for next test or are we stuck with same squad?

Doug Bracewell has been called into the squad.

Despite the lack of love for the name Bracewell on TSF, and the call for some randoms, I think it's the best call at this stage of the season.

I'm okay with Doug. Not so much with the other guy....

@nzzp so it seems. Saw headline to article by Andrew Alderson.

So Wags to hit the winning run as his last ever act in Tests on his 37th birthday...
