I think it just takes away the flavour of everything else you're eating while not adding anything.

They’ve been $2 each here for the last year despite floods and inflation. Seem like a bargain to me.
Certainly not packed with flavour, but wicked in salads , on toast with lemon juice or Vegemite (yeah, with Vegemite bitches)

There is a roadside stall on the way home from work selling Avos...they are a good addition to dishes because they aren't overpowering, they are versatile, and full of goodness.
However they are massively seasonal and the price gets ridiculous, although places like the roadside stall are much better than supermarkets in quality and price.

As @mariner4life notes I hate fun, there's no way I'd be up and drunk enough at 1am for it to sound any good.

Not stand by me, but I've been in this situation plenty of times. Rolling in the Deep was probably the team classic.
I'm one of those "not in a million years will I do karaoke again" ... then when I'm a few beers in, I'm well up for it.
