That would be Dr Strange, which I have an inexplicable fondness for. I reckon I’ve seen it 5 times at least. And yet I don’t think it deserved an Oscar either.
Do you mean the first or the second Dr Strange? I think I prefer the second one!
I haven't seen the 2nd one!

I'm not really a fan of superhero movies. All a bit same, same.
I do remember enjoying Dr Strange (both) but can't recall the plots now.
I have a very visual memory so I tend not to watch movies more than once.

Although DrS1 had a much better (scene-stealing) cameo from the cloak of levitation (arguably the best actor) the dead-eyed Dane let it down as did Tilda Swanton (strange casting). DrS2 is a multiverse magical zombie movie (not surprising given who the Director was-Sam Raimi).

Apparently it has a bit of a Princess Bride type feel to it.

i hadn't heard thats exact comparison but thats definitely the vibe id been getting which is great, maybe some Stardust too

I watched it yesterday and thought it was pretty good. Well made light blockbuster style movie.

A few points…..
Overall looks much better than Crystal Skull.
I REALLY hope that annoying chick who plays the annoying droid in the Solo Movie isn’t annoying in this.
You can guarantee Mads Mikkelsen will play an awesome bad guy. It’s just how he is.
The de aging of Harrison Ford looks amazing.
Fucken size of the fluffybunny in the background at 1.08, you can be assured he’ll dish out a good beat down.

When you see a list like that it reminds you just how many absolute dogs have won best picture. Luckily some great ones too.

Haven’t watched 3 Days of the Condor for years, but have just seen it again. Great film with some very good performances. Max von Sydow, Redford, Dunaway and a special mention to Cliff Robertson’s wig.
The early 70s was a great time for cinema.
