Not a good start to Grant Bradburns coaching career as an international coach, losing both 20/20s so far.

If anything, coaching Pakistan to wins over the Black Caps is a great audition after recent comments in NZ Cricket about having a specialist limited overs coach.

Also, Bradburn coached Scotland for 4 years, including at a world cup. So, not the start of his career as an international coach.

That took me down a wikipedia rabbit hole, where from a quick perusal of when they last won stuff - I have concluded that Northern Districts have been crap since he left, apart from in T20.

    He's coaching Pakistan!

Outside of Chapman, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th-string players haven't taken their chances so far. Some are clearly not up to it. Even some of the regulars haven't fronted.

As a side note, there is a big Canterbury flavour in the NZ XI.

Yep stuffed my wording up doing it posting on my phone in an express mode.

ND has always lost so many multiple format players to the NZ team that they seldom have those players available when needed in red ball cricket. We saw what impact Santner had in some games.

Watling to the rescue next season.

NZ wins game 3 by 4 runs in a lower scoring game. It looks to be a better performance from the bowlers, particularly Sodhi.

Looks like an awkward pitch for T20 judging by the run rates.

That was a fantastic chase to watch. Every over the other side took back control.

Well done Neesham as well, Pak need 15 of the last over. Gets tonked for 10 off first 3 deliveries, then 3 dot balls including 2 wickets..nerves of steel

Or maybe Pakistan weren't supposed to win.

Another excellent performance by Chapman in his penultimate outing before being sent home and replaced, by that young & upcoming white-ball batting superstar Henry Nicholls, for the ODIs.

@Rapido good to see him succeed. He's grabbed his opportunity, clearly our best batsman so far this series

Chapman has certainly been the big winner in Pakistan, and Young has flopped. Some bizarre selection decisions for the T20i and ODI teams.

Entertaining last few overs from Neesh and Chapman.

NZ in with a shout needing 28 off 18.

Chapman ... nearly fluffs his lines. Skies it into gap to get 100 ...
