I wonder what they left off this before they edited for clarity?

“I’m Muslim, I’m Filipino, I’m neurodiverse, I have mental illness and physical disabilities, I’m trans and asexual. People will say that there are contradictions,”

If this isn’t a troll I bet a bunch of those things are self diagnosed .

We had a girl working in our office. She was lesbian, vegan, dairy intolerant, gluten intolerant, had to have a standing desk (which she never used), had ADHD and anger management issues.

I’m not a qualified doctor but I still managed to diagnose attention seeking twat.

    @paremata

I do wonder if a lot of the lifestyle choices and difficulties that seem much more prevalent now, have a background of childhood abuse or awful parenting or something.

@Catogrande That's remarkable generous of you. I had you pegged as more of a cynic.

I think your attention seeking twat comment is probably more accurate in the majority of cases.

I think social media and the me, me, me self-entitlement generation has a lot to do with it.

Back in the day if you wanted to feel a bit special you grew your hair long and smoked some dope or stuck a safety ping in your nose and spat at people. Nowadays you have to identify as a brassica.

Basically just a narcissistic bully in other words .. As well as a laundry list of issues real and otherwise this clown wants you to tiptoe around they are apparently “ tackling racism “ .
    Sure they are .

If you want to see where pandering self absorbed loons like this leads to check out the part of this podcast where they talk about the Alpaca ranch run by a neurodiverse trans polyamorous community. You couldn’t possibly make this shit up

This headline is a beat up (Budding young rugby player off field for three months after violent city assault). The guy plays B grade club rugby.

Most MSM today is crap. As a Kiwi living in Oz I like to keep up to date with what is happening in Christchurch and was recently agast when Stuff put up a paywall, fortunately it got taken down.

Which is worse, the crap stuff articles or the NZ herald articles that are apparently premium but in cost only. I don't know and I can't even blame newscorp anymore as everywhere is dire.

I still prefer finding out about things from MSM then, if it interests me, searching further for other sides to stories.
MSM organisations will have an editorial bias but at least you know how far it is slanted

I pretty much just use Reuters - so typically the story before any "Media Outlet" mangles it into the version they want to present.
Of course - not really much use for NZ-level stories.
Although I did just see that one of their latest stories is "New Zealand launches space policy, notes growing strategic competition"
