The only problem with a straight RC, and you're off for good, for anything other than obvious foul play is that we've seen some RCs deemed to not meet the RC threshold by the judiciary after the fact. That isn't good enough from the officials/WR.

I doubt the TMO will be asked to review a RC and recommend that it should only be a YC. But they should, if applicable.

Figured this was about as good a place as any, didn't get past number 5 on my first read.

is there still a coin toss if they're the host nation? do they get the home game by default?

@Kiwiwomble not in the RWC, I think all teams are essentially 'visitors'.

Coin toss for changing room and 'home' status. I think the toss is done well in advance except for finals.

IF (big IF) we meet France in the Final we owe them from 2011 where they won the toss but let us play in Black.

We should make our away strip sky blue with white shorts and red socks. That'll fuck them

                                  Incredible.
WR doing representation and development alongside quality. The Barnes lesson was not learned.
Jordan Way? At least he's only an AR but if there is one high profile ref around at the moment that has zero feel for the game and produces randomness like farts it is this guy. He's worse than Pickerell and that's not something to be proud off.

England is the new France by dominating the RWC ref panel.

With the lopsided draw the ABs are more likely to get the English or Aussie refs in the QFs.

Barnes I don't mind (because we know what to expect) but Pearce and Dickson scare me somewhat. Seem to ref a different style to what our players are used to.

If rugby were cluedo it was Barnes, in the stadium, with the faulty whistle

Reckon this is the strongest panel of refs yet although not sold on the Georgian.
