Tuesday: Had pretty terrible night and couldn't get up for the morning session. Was going to make up for it that evening but work got in the way.

Wednesday: Back and biceps. Not bad.

Thursday: Shoulders. Ok but not as intense because mate was there. We never have the same routines and end up yakking like old women.

Trying to tidy the diet up a bit. Since the incident heaps of people have been making food for us. I'm eternally grateful for that but there's been a hell of alot of lasagne and pasta. With things a bit calmer now I have to clean it up. I feel bloated much of the time and I absolutely hate that feeling. Having lived with a cheat day for about 4 years it's also difficult to not cheat on that day because they body has become so used to being spoilt.

Should also do more running but I'm a total soft cock on these "winter" evenings. Can't believe I used to run in subzero temps.

Keep it ticking over bro - you've got a bunch on your plate so I wouldn't beat yourself up if the odd workout slips... or the kai is a bit too appealing!!

    Legs and arm tickle today.

Was a long period there when I wasn't doing legs so it's nice to get back into it. I've always been a gym man more than a pounding pavement man.

Found out this hardcore dude who trains at my gym has gone to Thailand for 6 months of training. I think its that traditional kickboxing style thing. 8 hours a day out in the jungle. Not my cup of tea but mutchos respect to that.

I had an ex-rugby mate do something similar. He loved it but he's always been a bit 'touched' ha ha

If you are ever in need of some evil leg stuff sing out bro. There is some solid collective knowledge on the fern on how to feel the burn!

Saturday: 40 min run plus pullups and dips.

Sunday: Due to knee issues and on the advice of the wife of a mate I've starting trampoline skipping. My parents had one of those mini trampolines from way back, so picked that up and gave it a go. It's a bitch getting started with the rope length and all that but is great when you get the hang of it. Certainly works the legs but doesn't destroy the knees. Reckon I'll try and do 15 minutes of this most nights instead of the running.

Monday: Chest and tris. Good session.

I quite enjoyed skipping on grass back at my old place, haven't found anywhere really suitable now though and don't want to be one of "those guys" at the park so it's been put on hold for other exercises at the moment.

Yeah that's a bit of a problem. Felt like a bit of an idiot skipping out front. But I still found even the grass a bit hard.

Actually those buggers are causing a few problems. There's a suburb about 10-15 minutes from me with a park near a big artificial lake. It's a popular running destination, but it has become infested with those Pokemon hunter people. Adults of course, not kids.

Catch up.

Tuesday: Back and biceps. Was sore as a mofo after the previous day so didn't smash back too much but arms copped a fair bashing.

Wednesday: Skip jumping in evening.

Thursday: Shoulders. Not bad.

Today: Stupidly started watching Straight Outta Compton quite late and got hooked. Didn't get to bed until far too late so farked up the early start for gym. Was a beautiful day so decided to go for a run in my lunch break. I don't know where the winter went but it was about 30 bloody degrees today. Don't know why but after 40 minutes I ran onto the oval and did 4x 400m plus pullups and dips. Got home in the end but I was getting dizzy as. Took a while to recover. Overdid it but I needed to get out.

Reckon I'll hammer some legs tomorrow.

Saturday: Legs hammered and arms tickled. Reffed son's soccer again. I'm starting to enjoy this and am moving around the pitch a bit more. Normally I'm mute on the pitch but had to yell at my son a few times because he was playing like a drugged sloth. That's one thing I hate. I shower my kids with complements if they try their best but if they go out there halfarsed it really pisses me off.

Sunday: Ran the line at other son's rugby. They played their best match of the season and absolutely destroyed the number 2 side. Was beautiful to watch. The 8-9 tries also meant that I was running the entire time. It was the first time Ive seen yellow cards come out in a rugby game at that level. The other team started losing their shit and were swinging arms and tackling late.

Monday: Chest and tris. Really good session and am feeling it today. My son wanted me to show him clap pushups that evening, but I was so sore I could barely manage two. Tried some trampoline skipping but it was a bit of a debacle.

Needed a decent sleep today, but will hopefully hit the gym tonight.

Oh yeah, eldest son woke me up early this morning so I could see his six pack.

Dude you need to be smashing 20+ at 100kg bodyweight......

I love those cos the better half can bust out backflips on the lawn ( which I can't do... ) but can't do those ( which I can ).

Not as pretty as backflips but being the competitive prick I am if she does something I can't do I have to find something she can't......although she is gonna try and teach me a backflip which is gonna be a long and arduous process.

Normally I can do a lot of them, but I was as sore as a rentboy's butthole yesterday.

I'd never be able to do a backflip. I can even psych myself up to do a handstand.

Tuesday: Wasn't going to go to gym, but kids got me to play some Star Wars Battlefront with them just after dinner. They absolutely kicked my arse and didn't half let me know it. I was so pissed off I ended up going t the gym to let off some steam. It was a very good session actually. Back plus biceps.

Wednesday: Didn't do sheet.

Today: Shoulders. Didn't have much time so smashed them. Feeling the good pain.

Friday: Am enjoying hitting the legs on Saturday so Friday is cardio. Didn't really have time for a proper run so did shitloads of skipping. 150 on ground then 50 on mini trampoline, followed by pushups to failure. Did that for a good 25 minutes and was pretty smashed at the end. Skipping is most definitely not just for girls.

Saturday: Legs hit rather well. Then tickled the arms rather aggressively. Gave a really nice pump during the entire weekend. Bit gay, but I really like a good bit of pump.

Saturday: No rugby so we went down the coast. Hate to admit it but Northern NSW craps on the Gold Coast. Cabarita Beach is beautiful. Plenty of walking. Always great to get away for a bit.

Monday: Chest and tris. Bit of a rush job so a bit meh. Did the skipping, trampoline thing in the evening.

Tuesday: Back and biceps. Bit like above. OK but not the best session.

Shit, been a while. Had an update last week but Surface went flat and then the server has been down.

Weekend:

Saturday: Morning gym session now which I am seriously digging brah. Legs plus serious arm tickle. Love this day because there is no stress and I'm not looking at the clock. I get home, have breakfast, then get youngest to soccer. That's now over for the season so I'll see if I can expand the Saturday training to jogging to the gym, training, and then jogging back. Gym is about 2km away.

Sunday: Ran the line at rugby again. Final game and undefeated season. Very proud of the boys. Heaps of injuries but they still won comfortably. Game was bayside, so we went for a long walk at the beach before heading home. It's funny how kids bitch and moan because they want to get back to the devices, but when you get out of the car and hit the beach they suddenly love it and don't want to leave. Was a pretty poor eating day so did a skipping, trampoline skipping, crunch circuit before staying up way too late watching Olympics.

Monday: Shocking day. No time to even take a dump.

Tuesday: Chest and tris. Not heaps of time but a good sessions nevertheless. Chest is just so easy to hammer. Just drop weight on the bitch.
