Forgot to get around to posting on Oorjin the other night.

(Congrats to Warridogs tonight, looking impressive.)

The last 30mins of Wed is the most loigue I've watch for, like, forever.

And it was awesome. This was what I used to like about Oorjin.

Full on smash it at each other, gaps off the back of offloads, ball play. Species tries.

    Almost as good as rugby.

    And my team winning.

And just to confirm it's loigue and reduce an awesome spectacle to Boganville, a completely pointless fight, with multiple headbutts with the result beyond doubt.

    Oorjin!

DWZ could easily have finished with five tries.

He showed a level of unselfishness I wished we'd seen from Jordie Barrett a couple of weeks back

    It’s our ye…..

We are a squad. Metres up the middle. Blake is a beast. For some reason teams haven’t worked out how to play Harris. SJ’s confidence is Sky high and the joy he is playing with is contagious. His defence has improved out of sight.

Our outside backs have pace, guile and importantly don’t do stupid stuff.

Webster seems to be the right sort of personality for this team.

Not calling we even make the finals yet. The draw throws up too many permutations with Cowboys and Parramatta finding form. If Manly continue to lose games that helps all of us, but they have a relatively soft draw even though they have lost their wheels. I figure we will end up fighting with Sharks, Canberra and the above teams for positions from 5-9. We can finish higher, but we have to start pulling off some wins against top 8 teams to do that. A win against Souths (who will likely be without Latrell again would be a good way of doing that) Certainly confidence is high and we are in a good position but still not calling it lol!

I've been burnt too many times by the Warriors that I'm going to be my usual pessimistic self and plan to check out of the NRL in a couple of weeks when it's clear we have no chance of making the 8.

Therefore any games from this point onwards will be a bonus.

And if we do make the GF I'll hope a lot of Aussies fans dump their tickets in disgust so I can pick them up for a small rather than large fortune.

Big game Friday night and interestingly we are favourites and probably deservedly so with Latrell not available, Souths have looked a bit clunky in their last outings.

Warriors Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Rocco Berry, Adam Pompey, Marcelo Montoya, Luke Metcalf, Shaun Johnson, Addin Fonua-Blake, Wayde Egan, Bunty Afoa, Jackson Ford, Josh Curran, Tohu Harris (capt). Interchange: Dylan Walker, Mitchell Barnett, Bayley Sironen, Tom Ale.

However just for some balance, South Sydney Rabbitohs’ record against the New Zealand Warriors over the last 10 years goes as follows:
South Sydney has built a 14-1 record with the only exception being the Warriors’ 32-20 win in Perth in the first round of the 2018 season. The last time the One New Zealand Warriors beat Souths at Go Media Stadium was in 2012 when they surged to a 44-22 win. Interestingly we were in the top 8 after round 18 on 20 points and then failed to secure a further point for the rest of the season and finished 14th.

We might still make the eight if we lose this one, but I feel this game will significantly measure how far we have come, but most Warriors fans wont have them in the finals just yet..

I'm surprised there is not much interest on the forum for this.

Me, I am watching my first game of league for a few years.

I am officially on the bandwagon.

That Warriors try had to come, they’ve had plenty of ball and territory.

Great handling from both sides in the pouring rain, not one handling error after 17 minutes.
