@Bones I enjoy the accelerated-walking-machines (is that what they're called?) in Heathrow... love striding down them manfully and feeling the wind in my face.
But if the norm has become to stand still in the middle of them... I might be finding a way to smuggle a knife into my luggage... -
Actually... it's been a while.. maybe I do remember a fair few people just taking a rest on them. And me doing the classic British "harrrumph" behind them, and then muttering, and sometimes even passive-aggressively "excuse-me"-ing... until they wake the fuck up and get the fuck out of my way.

Invasion
Title gives you the idea of what it is about.
Some episodes were excellent (especially the one where the family were fleeing, although the kids were so fucking stupid and annoying throughout) while others were not...
Looks like a 2nd season is due later this year, not sure I'll bother.

I don't remember Jack Ryan being this awfully cheesy in the first couple of seasons.
Are you fucking kidding? It was the worst, corny garbage out there. That shit head actor is so annoying.
You love it.

I've just finished FUBAR. The show doesn't take itself too seriously, and there is enough action and humour with some inside jokes to be a fun watch.
Agreed
It's hokum, but quality hokum

I find it incredible how It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has maintained such a high quality after running for more than 15 years. Season 16 still going strong after a wonky first episode.
My wife and I have not really gotten into Succession thus far. We're only at EP 4, I think, and it has been alright, but we expected a bit more. Is it getting better?

@Tordah yeah I found Succession pretty meh, but think I only went 3 eps deep.
But then, I found IASIP meh too, so....
I always used to think highly of you because of your profile picture, but behead those who insult IASIP
-
@Tordah the latest season of IASIP has been shite IMO and I have actually bailed after 4 eps.
I never got into Succession either, I usually give series 3 eps before I decide if I am going to continue.
Have started Blue Lights (3 eps in) which is a BBC cop one set in Belfast, pretty decent (although I am really feeling old when I look at some of the cops and they look like kids but find they are in thier 20s)
-
@taniwharugby started blue lights a while ago with Bonesetta, but we lost interest after a couple of episodes as we couldn't decide whether it was mild drama or mild comedy (she doesn't do fun).
-
@taniwharugby fuck. That's an odd one eh.
