I didn't mind Succession, but it's way overhyped. I don't have access to Binge at the moment so I'm still about 5 episodes away from the final ep of the show.

I just got BritBox for two months at 99c a month as part of the Prime day sale - so welcome any suggestions for good shows on there

Couldn’t agree more. Definitely good but not to the extent that people have gone on about.

The Lincoln Lawyer as I mentioned before is pretty decent. No way a “great” show but easy to watch if a bit formulaic and with a 90s feel to it in that things get wrapped up nice and quick once Holler finds some awesome legal precedent at the last minute.

The fact his associates are two of his ex wives ( both hot ), an ex junkie and a biker with an annoying voice pushes the bullshit needle to absolute critical but I guess you just have to ignore that.

I don't think that's on Britbox is it? I assume it's an American show? I also assume it doesn't star Matthew McConaungnhey? I'm surprised they didn't turn that into a movie franchise actually as that movie was pretty good.

    Netflix I think.

No it stars some bloke I’ve never heard of until now.

Ah right, I'll add it to my watchlist for lightweight watching in the future.

    Good way to describe it.

I like Netflix shows like that for winding my brain down at night time before bed.

Yeah, I have a Netflix lightweight 40m - 60m show then I watch a comedy (Community, HIMYM etc). I take a lot of winding down - I used to have really bad insomnia.

A few years back watched season one of Berlin station. Was a relatively good spy action thriller based on a CIA station in Berlin. Was only recently aware of 2 subsequent seasons before been dumped for costing too much. Finished season 2 and half way through season 3.
Still pretty good subsequent seasons if you didn't watch them previously, obviously tech dates a bit. Still worth a watch if you enjoyed the original. Currently on Stan in Australia.

@taniwharugby fuck. That's an odd one eh.

Not really. She made that one mistake years ago and has had to live with it ever since. It’s clearly playing on her mind.

I watch about an hour of TV a night

What you do to wind down I get by reading a book before I drop off

Then again between 3:00 and 5:30 before I get up.

I watch the shows as mentioned. If I read a book I'll never go to sleep.

Just got a notification from Apple that S2 of Foundation is about to drop today (why do TV serieseses "drop" btw???)

Did anyone persist with S1? I watched the first couple and found it glacial. Is it worth going back for more?

I watched it all. It's weird. it's really well made, has a good cast, and has good source material, but it doesn't really come together that well.

I also watched it all and enjoyed it. Watched it twice actually, when they first dropped and then again after watching a couple of YouTube videos explaining the timeline and background etc.

Certainly agree it's with the bolded above in your post @Nepia

I'm on the Hijack train, 2 eps in, very good so far.

I really liked how the chick at Heathrow pointed out the obvious to everyone, like people watching were

EP 4 done here - the only thing I dislike about the show is that my kids have also decided to watch it with us. So it's fucking painful getting everyone to sit down at the same time, and then they ask questions or argue their way through it. Bloody families eh?!
