A very, very good game by the ABs. Enjoy it.

I suspect there won’t be much between France, Ireland, NZ and the Boks in World Cup.

      Stunning and original insight !

I would like to see Jacobson get a run at 8 or perhaps on the bench for Paps

Good to see some of the more maligned ABs play really well. Frizell, Mounga and Cane were all really visible and involved.

Odd game tactics with short kick after short kick but I guess the final score tells the story

I'd like us to be able to play a little crusaders ball when required; rumble up the middle, kick deep for touch and make opposition teams who feed off mistakes try to beat us from their own half

Chiefs had a very good game plan which would be handy in test footy. Dmac and Stevenson almost exclusively played for territory and were patient in the opposition making a mistake or giving a penalty. Dmac kicked over twice the penalties as any other team.

                Referee was excellent, I thought.

Very good game to watch by both teams.
First 20 minutes were amazing, best AB 20 mins I've seen for quite a while.
Second 20 was evens, ABs still playing alright but Boks improved, just could not finish.
Third quarter was, sadly, what we now expect from Foster's ABs , the big slump, which coincided with the Boks really getting into their groove.
What was a bit unexpected was the turnaround at 70mins. Last Bok try was so unnecessary, though. Exciting watch..

Think it’s time BB hung up the boots. He puts his side under pressure unnecessarily time and again with overly shallow kicks. His retention might have made sense when there were no alternatives. But with Jordan, DMac and Stevenson as alternatives at fullback his continued selection makes zero sense to me.

Maybe the Foster band-aid plasters wagon.

Rather than this short defensive bomb bullshit, I'd rather have a long kicking fullback (Stevenson) with good chasers.

Beauden Barrett also playing very well (I missed minutes 40 to 55 though).

His shit exits and penchant for the miracle play cost us.
(although it worked a couple of times too)

Beauden was fine but its certainly worth looking at other options.

If we don't have Cane we need more defensive starch in the loosies. And I don't understand why Samisobi isn't the starter, his pick and go wears them down more than any other tight forward.
