Not a meme, but hey sometimes I just wanna time travel.
Any further info on date and country?
Sent it to Junior who works for the Colonel when she isn't studying, who sent it on to her Manager.
Both apparently most amused.
Further, I recall getting Thrift Pack(s) from KFC in Kensington, Whangarei, through the hole in the wall back in the early 70s ...

4.95 sounds good for a bumper box but considering the average wage back then was probably about a dollar an hour it’s maybe not that good a deal.
I’ll easily spend over $20 every time I go to KFC which isn’t too much……although I might go tomorrow to get me through Monday.

This thread has been well and truly derailed so I’ll continue - one great memory from Otago Uni was one of the weekends snowboarding when we stopped at the ice skating/hockey rink on the way there or back (hazy memories…). They’d had a function the night before and had hundreds of leftover KFC burgers and fries sitting there , and the bloke gave us full reign of the rink, the gear, and then the food. The ice hockey was terrible, and the cold food was worse…but it all seemed great at the time!

@Victor-Meldrew I've never met a plumbing dog, kudos to him.

@booboo I didnt work at that one, but worked at the one when it moved further down Bank Street (circa 1994) and then, $19.99 Family Pack would get you 20 pieces of chicken, 6 rolls, large P & G (when it was nice) large coleslaw, 2 large fries and a 2L bottle of coke
We used to shift some uints when all dole payments were made on Thursdays....
