I realise this comes across poorly in this day and age, but some of these players are fit as fuck.

    VAR
    Very arbitrary reffing

Haiti shafted 3 times for penalties

    The fix is in

My mate's manager's son plays for the Under 14 Oz team.
Brazilian women's team played them in a warm-up.
The 12/13 year-olds beat them three nil.
    Thought it was funny.

I was watching the swimming world championships the other day and a guy who came dead last in one of heats had a time that smashed the women's world record. But that didn't stop me enjoying the female races or make their achievements any less impressive because there is a clear distinction between the sexes in these comps. The morons advocating for "equality" or whatever tf are undermining female sports by insinuating there is no distinction. There bloody is, but thats perfectly fine. Just like with weight divisions in combat sports.

Ultimately the buzz around this comp appears to be genuine and that's a good thing.

I’m sure the team are just itching to go for a night out in Palmy with some pudgy middle aged knob on a scooter with a pink helmet.

I disagree that people advocating for equality insinuate there is no distinction. Equal treatment doesn't mean identical treatment, but that's all I'm saying here, because this isn't a politics thread.

Good fun driving down Lambton Quay and seeing an absolute truckload of fans in US gear. Stars and Stripes pants, big flags etc. Great for the hospo industry I’m sure.

Of course the best female athlete will be inferior to her male equivalent. But that certainly doesn’t take away from what they achieve in this and any other given sport. One of my mates who has gotten right on the bandwagon sent me a list of the highest paid players, two of the US players are on 7 mill a year each, good on them, that’s incredible money.

…..and any bloke who decides he wants to wear a dress and compete in said sport can absolutely fuck off. PC be damned.

Yeah I’m calling bullshit on this unless proven otherwise. They’re fit, athletic women and boys that age are still way off their best in more ways than one.

CF jnr is in year 8. The biggest kids in his year are basically fully grown men. It's not unbelievable when you consider Frank said it's a national team. So the biggest, fastest boys in the country
