How can you insert a photo without replying to another post? The button doesn't pop up when I quick reply
Use the blue "reply" button at the top right and then use the "upload image" icon (far right on next screen) or cut and paste your image.

Corner Office
Exceedingly odd and overly long movie about mental illness at work. I had to watch it at 1.5x speed after a while just to ensure I would get to the end. I now wished I hadn't. It's tedious with no twist.

Agreed
The only saving grace was they released this and didn't try to remake Being John Malkovich

The orignal Eleanor from the 1974 Gone In Sixty Seconds film

Movie car? I give you the one in Australian film: Malcolm (1986), two for the price of one! But if you do happen to be offered the sale of contract to this, avoid signing on the dotted line!
That reminds me, has anyone mentioned Goodbye Pork Pie?

The Dukes of Hazard car seems to be missing something....
You're making a lot of effort to do your culture warring considering we can see none of the car roofs.

Thought it was on the doors. Ah well. Sorry if you were triggered.

To Live and Die in LA
- I'd downloaded this a few weeks back, for some reason
- With Friedkin's 'passing' - figured it was an appropriate time to finally watch
- Fuck me... 1980s much?
- If the script-writers, directors, actors, and editors - weren't doing a shit-tonne of cocaine - then I don't know what a shit-tonne of cocaine looks like. Spoiler-alert... I once did a coin-toss in Ecuador of "heads - I fuck off out of here; tails - I spend every US$ I have in my pocket on cocaine." I had a couple hundy US$, and cocaine in Quito is fairly fucking cheap. I spent a much longer time in Quito than it warrants.
- Tit-watch - several '80s tits. But realistic tits, not the new millenium's gravity-defying wonders I've come to expect as standard
I can see how it was a cult-classic if watched at the time of release... but I somehow missed it. Slightly too young. Watching it for the first time now... it's a relic. Enjoyed it as such, though.
4 plot-jumps (rather than base-jumps... cause they're cool and topical, and correctly referenced, right?) out of 5 Ned-Starks. -
Freebie and the Bean
- 1974
- All I knew going in was... it had a famous car-chase
- Wasn't ready for the Buddy-Cop-Farce...
-
- HEAVY on the farce
- I guess I can appreciate it for what it is, but... I'm not really a fan of farce
-
- Sorry, even Blues Brothers... not a fan
- Tit-watch... 1970s, I was expecting some lovely jubblies.. but nope
- And... I can't imagine it playing well with modern audiences. Jokes about giving a wife some blue/black eyes just to cause her husband difficulty in travelling... not sure the young'uns would appreciate/understand.
All a little jarring, and I think I need to watch some nice simple bullshit tomorrow.
