Great try Waikato. Anderson did well not to have a second attempt. Tucker was in position to play halfback after the long break

Wow, great try to Taranaki. Naholo's 2nd. That kick was very good.

Dangerous dive from Naholo on the Waikato player.
A few others going to the bin for that punch up.

@Steven-Harris Fast, but he was also competing with a forward. No contest.

@Stargazer was more about where he came from when the kick was made , everyone was pretty flat footed, picked up the spoils for a very good chase

Who's the comments guy? Referring to the ref as Dan "Wanger"..surely someone's put him up to that!

Taranaki look the real deal this year. Making up for last years shocker..

@Stargazer when you consider their roster , if you were a Waikato supporter you have to be very disappointed.
Full credit to Taranaki 4 from 4 and top of the log

@J77 the replacement lock for Taranaki Fiti Sa is a monster , loan player from Canterbury 2.03m 124kgs , only 20 reminds me of Kali Vaipulu very similar in stature and age

Very disappointed with Waikato. Poor goalkicking from Kemara was again a real momentum loser. Far too many errors in the backs. Can they please start Roe as he seems much sharper than Cortez. And I hope Mitch Jacobson is back too as his leadership is missed.
Full credit to Taranaki for taking their chances.

I think Fiti Sa is now maybe on a Chiefs development contract and not a loan player from Canterbury anymore.

Yes, he was the Chiefs U20 captain.
