Ireland have named their squad. Cian Healy, longtime prop, and occasional star hooker, is not in it.
However, it has meant that another foreigner gets into the squad.
USA - Loughman, McCarthy
New Zealand - Lowe, Gibson-Park, Aki
Australia - Hansen, Bealham
SA - HerringBit disappointing that SA only managed to get one player into the squad despite their heavy involvement in Irish rugby over the last few years.

You could - it passes through from every second generation - must have been his grandfather.
No excuse for losing Jean Kleyn though - having captured him and then letting him escape back to SA into their RWC squad. He'll probably score the winning try in their pool match. -

Obviously I am not qualified to answer, but maybe he's not confident he can find powerful enough forwards and thinks his only change is, as you say, insanely, run them off their feet?
