My old man was a PD warden on weekends when I was a kid. Most of my Saturday lunches in that time were with the PD gang as they had awesome cooked meals made by a guy I think kept reoffending so he could keep doing it. Also, a lot of the earthwork done around our house happened to get done on Saturdays too.
