Has anyone watched Yellowjackets? There has been some hype around this show, and Melanie Lynskey is part of the cast. But if I start a new series I tend to commit to watching it all.

@Bovidae I watched S1, so-so, no closure at end of S1, not quite enough for me to want to watch S2, that I havent watched.

@taniwharugby And S3 will be airing next year, so no resolution in S2 either.

@Bovidae ah true...def wont be lookng again.

I'm conflicted with From about how much they'll drag that out without a resolution, so sitting with S2 ready to go and I think a 3rd season is in planning?

If you liked the Ramsey Snow vibe in Game of Thrones, the same actor is playing another psycho in the series called Wolf.

One Piece. Based on a Manga series that is apparently huge. Obviously random and weird as furk, but damn if it isn't entertaining.

Finished The WOman in the Wall last night.

Was a pretty good series, Ruth Wilson and Daryl McCormack were both excellent in thier roles.

Started a bit slow, but was a good story, but ramped up midway through (6 ep series)

While not based on anything, it was inspired by the Magdalene Laundries, that I had heard of, but wasnt 100% on what they were...

Just finished season 2 of Slow Horses on AppleTV+ this was excellent. If you enjoy a spy thriller (British), mixed with a little black
comedy give it a look. Season 3 due late this year.

They were actually run by The Sisters of the Seven Joys. Which sounds more like a '70's porn film than a religious order.

    Finished 'Far North'

Great series, I expect plenty of artistic licence.

Makes it look like the cops almost missed it, but I guess it cant be easy sifting through all manner of tips and in this instance, seemed a bizarre story...but as the title says, sometimes fact is stranger than fiction.

Interesting to see the sentencing they all got too, much longer than many we see, guess it was a bit more of an international event they needed to look like they were serious about it...assume most will be out in 4 or 5 more years (10 shy of thier sentence?)

Anybody jumped on Gen V yet?

Not quite The Boys but good fun, the Tek Knight revelation at the end of episode 4 got a good laugh.

Just started the Becks doco. 2 episodes in, I know he’s controlling the narrative but it’s great footage and hard not to like him, and the old ManU boys come across pretty well (which sucks)
