It would make the RWC for me if Scotland get up and would make me concede there's a reason for Scotland to exist.

Scotland are my second team, my wife is Irish. Let's just say I'm not preparing the spare room.

The only way Scotland win is if they get ahead early and Finn has one of those days were everything comes off. As for knocking Ireland out I know it's possible but technically so was Italy beating New Zealand.

I think it will be a hiding sadly.

Would be a shame if something happened to Sexton in this match.

Should be an interesting match. Rumour that Sexton has had an injury and Byrne coming in.

Would be a real shame if Sexton has already played his last game for Ireland.

Are Ireland confirmed top of their pool, even if they lose to Scotland?

No. If they lose without a bonus point they are out. If they lose with a bonus point they top the group.

Would be quite the thing to be knocked out at the top of your game.

To be honest, I'm shitting it. Scotland play some great rugby and are a tough test for us.

@The-Irishman can't rely on a home nations ref either. Scary stuff

BOK reffed the last game fair with no drama. I'm hoping his SH compatriot, Berry, does likewise

Ignoring the breakdown does suit Ireland

Nic Berry ... not my favorite referee in the world by any measure (at least he aint English I guess) - i hope we don't end up talking about him all game.

    2 great National anthems...
Hope I haven't built this game up too much in my head.

A chance for Ireland to throw the gauntlet down ahead of the pointy end of the comp... OR..... does a plucky Scotland pull one out of the bag?

Ha ha, don’t think this will be a famous upset. Ireland already in.
