Our average minutes is artificially low because of the injuries to Lomax, Jordie, Cane, Frizzell and de Groot's suspension.
Also, I can't see e.g. outside backs being knackered by this WC schedule, taking into account the games against far weaker opposition.
However, the Irish forwards might be a bit stuffed by the time they get to play France. -
TBH I'd start DMac at 15 and Roigard on the bench.

This in my opinion is a poorly written article. After reading it you'd be convinced that Ofa and Nepo are the second comings of christ, and de Groot is useless...
He has had one, ONE red, and one yellow in his whole career, and he is all of a sudden a high risk of cards?? And since when is Ofa a better scrummager than him? Since he powerhoused Namibia - give me strength.

The thing that concerns me is that in recent times a lot of the leaked or media posted teams have been on the money. Ughh Christie....
@JK which begs the question, why not just announce the team if you have named it in camp, but not officially?
I know they dont need to, but what is the point of delaying it? Do they think there is a tactical advantage, that there clearly wont be if team sheets are leaked anyway!

@nostrildamus yeah they are having an intense training today, but it aint like players dont get scratched when injured in training.

How far he has fallen in the coaches estimation, when at one point he was the best 2, now rated 3rd...IMO, this is in part due to the way he has been managed and his form has fallen.

I’m not sure he’s been managed poorly. He’s been rotated like many young hookers before him.
Remember when Mealamu was rotated from the starting spot when Henry brought back Oliver (as a starter) and then there was Hore as well that started. Mitchell had Kev as no.1 back in 03 when he was still very young. Kev went on to play many more years as I suspect Sami will. Samisoni has two more RWCs in him for the ABs.

@bayimports was getting us the team before officially announced from way back.
There was someone else on here during the Hansen era that seemed to have the good oil too.
“Leaks” are good for the game in my view.
