Steve Tew: New Zealand ready for a gay All Black
-

On reflection, I think Flexman should embrace this as an opportunity instead of acting like it's a threat. There's a re-branding opportunity here.

Instead of a loose affiliation with the Kansas City Chiefs.....

Or he could be really bold.
-

He might have even upgraded his state of rage to ''furious''. I hope to God it wasn't a tighthead prop who was involved - assuming the Chiefs still have any left.

Id say he's " incandescent with rage " now .

I see a Peter Fitzsimons has waded into it now in his column along with Jacinda Ardern . We should be approaching peak sanctimony in the Sunday papers tomorrow . -

Jacinda Ahern was on some TV thing last night with someone that looked like John Campbell and all I heard before I skipped to the next channel was something about being disgusted and shes a Morrinsville girl!

-

The shit thing about this is, like Steve Price was quite vocal in saying in the wake of the Bulldogs saga is that every Chiefs player is being tarred with that brush, whether they were involved or not. The married boys will no doubt be fielding questions by their wives as to whether they tossed the strippers salad, and I'd imagine that's a pretty uncomfortable conversation to have...

In all seriousness though, I'm surprised at the outrage at them hiring a stripper in the first place. I wouldn't have thought that was the worst thing they could on Mad Monday. It's not exactly illegal, and how many strippers perform in rugby clubrooms around the country annually?

I was also mildly curious as to why she went to the media before she went to the Police if it is an allegation of sexual assault. Should this ever wind up in criminal charges, I'm fairly certain that an competent defence lawyer would be asking the same thing. Obviously that statement comes with the disclaimer that sexual assault is never okay, nor is victim blaming. Just seems odd, is all.
-
No doubt the Chiefs are making a move to sign Canes centre Vince Aso...
-
If 50 bucks was all it took to lick her butthole, surely 20 would have been enough to buy her silence. Very unprofessional of the Chiefs.
-
'Scarlette' has been sacked for allowing someone to perform a sex act (licking for $50) as that is against company policy of the company she works for.

She also did not mention the issues to her boss. -

So a happy ending for no one...

That would have cost another $100 -

Allegedly they didn't pay her for the licking either. Not the smartest bunch. -

From a legal perspective, case law dictates that its not a sexual assault if the victim knew the nature and quality of the act being performed. I.e. knew it was a sexual act to be performed, but didn't receive the promised payment for it.

The example we had in our Detective exams was a boss promising his employee a pay rise if she rooted him and then reneging on the pay rise. -

I moved it here, so yes, I'd of moved it if it was them too.

What's your point?
-

If any of the other mods feel it should be back on the main forum, move it, I don't care TBH, I just don't think it needs to be there, the content isn't rugby related IMO.

That it's a discussion about one of New Zealand's biggest rugby teams. Not sure how it can be offtopic for a rugby forum.

The actual thread was not about the Chiefs possible indiscretions in the first place, it was a bout Tew suggesting that NZ is ready for an openly gay All Black. I suppose it could still be classed as rugby but the real topic was, well, off topic really.
-

Would this thread have been moved into Offtopic if it was the Brumbies shouting homophobic obscenities and groping strippers?

definitely, what the brumbies play is barely even rugby anyway.
-

Interesting I guess the other incidents she claims would still be classified as assault though as they were not part of the licking transaction.

As an aside do NZs prostitution laws come into this can she take them to small claims court for the 250 bucks shes owed? 50 for the guys who cut the deal and another 200 for the 4 who went in for a freebie.
-

Those are very specific numbers. Did you study the tape closely?
