I named this team last week and it’s a good team and by naming it we got the result we all wanted.

    F. Newell, C. Taylor, T. Williams, S. Whitelock, S. Barrett, E. Blackadder, T. Chief, T. Cane, T. Lander, R. Mo’unga, L. Fainga’anuku, J. Barrett, T. Blue, W. Jordan, T. Naki

    It’s only Monday….

poor old Dave can't even get himself in the Crusaderblacks.

it's not only the team that has to get themselves back up after an emotional week.

Considering our yoyo style of performances in the Fozzie era I hope we have an average match this week but squeak the win. Then we'll walk the final.

Wonder if we will defend as narrow again this week? We sure as hell couldn’t do that against SA, we’d get skinned on the outside

It's quite clearly a horses-for-courses approach. I think we are sometimes overly critical of the ABs coaching set-up for no reason. They absolutely nailed the defensive gameplan v Ireland... you can defend well and concede three tries just by the nature of a game, and likewise not necessarily defend that well and only concede a couple of tries.

I agree, just curious on thoughts as to whether that tightening would be encouraged for the Argies, or if we have something else in mind. I’ve only watch one of their games at this RWC and that was the poor showing v England

i was pretty accepting that we might have lost against ireland...and baring the obvious individuals like Sexton...i dont actually mind Ireland and France as both teams seemed to have made real improvements over the last few years....but now theyre out....and of the 4 teams remaining...us winning is the ONLY result that wont fuck me off.....i hope we smash everyone

If not ABs, then England. I know they are a completely boring team with a right bunch of tossers who go on all the time. But if SA win, then they are the undisputed greatest rwc team ever. More wins than us, done the double, and in a few less games. And I'll take boring both over Rassie the cheating twat anyday

Ireland winning would have annoyed me more than any other team bar England and then it would have been equal.

If not ABs, then England. I know they are a completely boring team with a right bunch of tossers who go on all the time. But if SA win, then they are the undisputed greatest rwc team ever. More wins than us, done the double, and in a few less games. And I'll take boring both over Rassie the cheating twat anyday

I don't care about any of that shit, we have the winning record over them, they're better at lottery comps. I'd rather you piss on my leg than England win.

Haha, I'm half English and lived/served there. I enjoyed the 03 win almost as much as ours - in Cyrpus with halloumi and bacon butties after live air-to-air gunnery. So, I'm more than happy for them to have a second. Every one of my English acquaintances has been great over this RWC, almost every Bok I know has been a whiny 'we're the best' and 'the ref is out to get us' git, who believes Rassie is actually not a stain on rugby's good name. 😉

EDIT: Tho the Eng supporters are probably so bearable ATM 'cos they are really quite shit!

@Machpants Haha, my Saffa mates have been great this RWC, well except for the English one (as in he's dual citizen) as he supports England. Aside from my English/Saffa mate I have avoided making acquaintances with the English. 😉
