@MajorRage there were many Irish passes that looked a little forwards.
Who's the pillock who always says SavAYa?
    and TamEYEti Williams

Rupert Cox probably. Has him on the Stan commentary. Idiot has Kal Te Nana effectively correcting him and still he keeps up the SarVayer.

I don’t mind the RWC commentary team. They are pretty fair. KT overplayed the whole “no one gave NZ a chance” line.

@JayCee was a ruck about phase 14, BR was over the ball, should have ended there, Barnes called away and BR quickly pulled away, so often players keep going when they have won it...the discipline in those 30 odd phases was something rarely seen by this AB side.

I think a couple of those ruck no calls were marginal

Retallick over the ball - he was quick to call no hands
Ardie over the ball - did Ardie fully detach as the tackler?
      T. Williams offside - close but pulled away after one extra long go at it.
Ioane neck roll - looked to have started around the shoulders and then go higher

i've seen another angle of the Ioane/Sexton "incident" and that makes it look for all money like the first words come from the guy in green (when Iaone had moved on to shake the next guys hand), Ioane chirps back, and Sexton blows up.

It's all dumb shit and i wish people would stop talking about it

He did a good job. I will say that the difference between Nuggy and almost any other scrumhalf is noticeable in terms of speed of pass, but holy shit even Richie's passing from the base looked disabled senior citizen in comparison.

              According to the Roar:

O’Mahony was later asked to give his own reaction to the incident last year, which came after Ireland sealed a historic come-from-behind series win over the All Blacks in New Zealand, but bluntly said it was a “bullshit question”.

POM is correct it’s a bullshit question. Cane got his revenge, not up to reporters to ask about a sledge delivered at an appropriate time years ago!

Be thankful you don't have itv. Actually I drunkenly tweeted them to ask if it would be too hard to talk to the teams before a game about pronunciation. No response.

Fyangaranooka had a great game for a guy I've never heard of.

                      @MajorRage

I agree it is a shit question, but he must have expected it. He cant disavow the sledge, so he should have owned up to it.

If he’d said ‘yeah, that one came back to bite me a bit, he was excellent today when it really counted for his team’ then I’d have a pretty different opinion of him. I imagine a Dane Coles or Gregan or Fitzpatrick would say something similar.

It’s fair that he might not have been in the right head space but perhaps that’s the point, he was happy to be a bully when we lost with quite a few things going against us.

Yeah, and Rieko pulled one out in the opening phases of the game I think it was so I wouldn't be pointing fingers.

Mils is speaking some truths on the breakdown - if you can believe it. He’s discussing the pressure of being no 1 and coming in with expectations, and talking about how Ireland will learn from this disappointment - NZ did for more than 20 years.

Maybe this is the opposite of the 2007 RWC campaign. Rather than over thinking it about whether individual players can get through three knockout games in a row, just get stuck in and fire up for each game at a time.

Injuries, attrition, and tiredness being factors that each team that makes the Final just has to deal with.

I mean, this was basically what we did in 2011 - largely imposed because of an injury crisis in the 10 jersey.

@ACT-Crusader the Ardie one was close and he didn't let go, was cleaned out and pleading with the AR, I think BR one was pretty clean, but Barnes saw different and BR let it go...

Obviously Cane was asked about the comment from POM too, he fended it off, he'd already go the best response to it.

I’m not going. ABs have never lost a RWC game I didn’t attend.

I tell a lie: I didn't go to 99 third place play off, but that doesn't count in my books.

Really good point. Seen that in successful business teams where planning got screwed and they had to just stay focussed on the basics. Imagine the military do this every day.
