I was just about to write that 400 was on for the Aussies and then Marsh goes out to an excellent catch and then Big Show goes next ball.

    Afridi on a hat trick

yeah but 367 looks solid, just depends on how much of a road the pitch really is..Pakistan doing ok in the chase but way too early to suggest they can stay in this fight. 94/0 15ov

the beauty of this tournament as we all said earlier..is that it is so long you can play your into form..perhaps a turning point for Australia

As bad as England are, the organising of this tournament is a disgrace. Heard on Wisden Cricket Pod that England vs India is in 12 days and it is STILL not possible to buy a ticket! Official website says ‘they’re coming soon’. No wonder there are no travelling fans (and almost no fans at other games not involving India)

No opening ceremony before the first game of the tournament, but one before the India vs Pakistan game that they realise they don’t have the song rights to broadcast so only show it for the fans in the stadium. Joke

yep even getting a mention in the match thread

Nayam: "@Dave H, completely agree with you. The ticketing system for this wc has been a complete shambles. And due to this the lack of travelling fans has really robbed this wc of the carnival atmosphere a tournament of a magnitude of a wc deserves."

Pakistan giving the chase a good go still, 265/4 in 38.

And 3 quick wickets and Australia should take this easy now

Cricket will not miss David Warner, at all. And if he gets a commentary gig, it will result in me switching the channel i watch (fuck i hope he ends up on Fox Sports and not Ch7). It's bad enough i have to hear from his vapid wife.

Look at his latest "outburst". Gets given out on an LBW, reviews, and stays out because it's clipping the wickets. Not the one you should be kicking off over David, that's hardly a howler. This whole 12-month retirement party you've planned for yourself isn't going well is it?

His big idea is umpire stats being shown on the screen. I'm battling to follow his point actually, but i guess he wants the public to know who has given him out the most? I dunno, it's a barely coherent point.

                  In short, fuck off David.

Least with how shit his form is we wont have to watch him jumping up waving his bat like hes just scored the winning runs in a WC Final every time he scores a 100.

draw? or do they have super overs in round robin as well?

Yeah super over. Doesn't help me... maybe Poms to win by a run to put a bullet in RSA's chances, and keep the NRR low

Holy shit that was some unbelievable fielding, in a very bad way. Went a million miles in the air and he still ends up diving for it... with his hands about a foot apart.

                                    So England played 4, won 1 & lost 3

That likely means they need to win the 5 remaining games to have a chance of qualifying? That includes games against India & Australia

"Dew" probably. Although England aren't reliant on a strong spinning attack.
