Boks bench means at 60 tight five will be same as that which chowed through Tamaiti, Sami and Fletch in scrums in Twickenham friendly.

Can't blame them for trying to replicate that.

I'm leaning towards Ofa, Colesy and Nepo to bring Bill home.

Who was in the second row - Lord and ?

We should select to our strengths not react to theirs.

That is true in general, but the undue influence of scrum penalties late on can easily be worth 10 points, so simply cannot be disregarded.

Up to 51 it was Whitelock and Vaa'i, but probably a back making up numbers, so fair point.

Boks bench scrum front row averages about 5' 10", so need props comfortable with packing very low.

@pakman I’m tempted to play Newell and Williams for the first 30 minutes, then to bring on De Groot and Lomax after that for the last 50 minutes to deal with Ox Nché when scrums are more likely.

Still waiting on those stats bro! The ones that prove the theory that Laulala gives away less penalties than any average prop?

Whoever said boks will change their bench due to "injury" is onto something. Otherwise I'm convinced it will come back to bite them. You don't do something so fraught with risk for a final.

I'm actually stoked we got pasted at Twickenham now. Bring it on

@Dodge he’ll get away with it and be remembered as the greatest RWC mind ever. I’m sure he’ll accept the plaudits humbly 😂

To be fair, if they win you can’t say that they don’t fully deserve it and Rassie is a colossal part of that.
